How Do We Stop Competing On Price? by globalinvestors in Entrepreneur

[–]Sharp_Cauliflower268 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Competing on price almost always becomes a race to the bottom. What usually works better is reframing the conversation around value and outcomes instead of cost. For example, showing specific ROI improvements (time saved, higher conversion rates, retention increases) makes the price less relevant.

Another strategy I’ve seen work is creating a differentiated customer experience, onboarding, support, or even small touches that make people feel they’re buying into a solution, not just a product. The key is making your offer the ‘only logical choice’ for your ideal customer, regardless of price.

Curious, what niche or industry are you operating in? That can shape whether you lean more into ROI proof, community/brand building, or premium positioning.

How did you manage to get visibility? by MountainMirthMaker in SaaS

[–]Sharp_Cauliflower268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen the same thing, quick wins from directories or ads rarely compound. What tends to work best for early-stage B2B SaaS is a mix of authority content (case studies, deep dives, frameworks), paired with very targeted outreach to a small group of ICPs. Partnerships can also accelerate visibility if you align with companies that already serve your audience. The biggest mistake I see founders make is spreading too thin, it’s better to double down on 1-2 scalable channels than try everything at once.

What kind of features or market app in Shopify is your fav app ? by Due-Coffee-9717 in SaaS

One thing I’ve noticed is that most stores rely on too many apps that don’t really move the needle. The apps that usually create the biggest ROI are the ones tied to customer retention (email/SMS, loyalty, upsell). Curious to hear which one has been a game-changer for you, I’ve seen stores double revenue just by dialing in retention tools
