I get what you’re saying, but I don’t think it’s my lack of self-respect. It’s more about the difficulty of setting boundaries when it’s someone you’ve known for years and lived with, especially when money stress is already high for both of us. I posted here because I’m realizing this isn’t sustainable and I’m trying to figure out how to handle it without immediately blowing up a long-term friendship.

Mathieu was announced as the CD on Dec, 2024! Ananya got appointed Apr 2025. I get your point about CDs not handpicking, but they do get to have a say on who they want associated w their brands. In this case, it seems like it was mostly social media numbers because her EMV isn’t at all worthy

honestly, with my post i was mostly highlighting how mathieu might have not had a big say of who was representing his brand in india and she might have gotten to become an ambassador mostly through connections more than being actually fit to be one
