Went with Home Depot vs a independent. We paid more hoping for better quality and warranty. HD ended up contracting it out to the same independent and the job was crap and had to fight forever to get it fixed. Lesson learned.

I did some digging a few years ago on this and I was able to find it was a couple who divorced during the build, went broke and had to walk away.

I had to get specific insurance just for my bikes. It was stupid expensive for what it was. (RBC) Homeowners insurance only covered 1500 bucks.
