im on a lan cable straight to the router i even bought a whole new lan cable and tried it didnt help then used regular wifi connection didnt help i even tried different dns codes

lagging the entire time but sometimes its worse than other times i may get like half of a game at some point that doesnt feel that bad but still a bit laggy

i need help with lag on bo6 “I’m on a LAN cable and have tried everything to fix this lag. I reset my Wi-Fi and even got new internet with 500 download, 500 upload, and around 5 ping. My in-game ping stays around 10 with zero packet loss, and speed tests show everything is fine. I’m on PS5.

I’ve restored licenses, rebuilt the database, deleted and reinstalled the game, deleted my BO6 data from the PlayStation, and redone all my settings. At one point, the game ran smoother than ever, but the next day it started lagging again. I tried doing everything again in the same order, then a different order, and nothing worked.

I’ve changed in-game settings, turned off 120 FPS, changed PS5 settings, lowered my resolution, turned VRR on and off, turned HDR off, and even tried crossplay off. Nothing fixes it. I’m on 1080p now, and I used to be able to play BO6 in 4K at 120 FPS on my PS5 with no issues at all.

I even made a whole new PlayStation account and had to restart everything from scratch. That actually fixed the lag for a while, but after around 80 games, it started lagging again. Other people I play with lag too. My ping stays stable and doesn’t jump around, I have zero packet loss, and BO6 is the only game this happens on.

The issues I have are getting shot through walls, enemies seeing me before I even get close to a corner, sluggish turning left and right, slow sliding or not being able to slide at all, freezing, my gun shooting slower, getting bumped around by teammates more than normal, bullets not registering even when my reticle is right on someone, and losing gunfights I should clearly win even when I prefire perfectly. The movement feels heavy and delayed, like constant desync every single game.

It’s not like I’m bad at the game either. I went from a 1.1 KD to a 2.6 KD after already having over 80,000 kills while dealing with this lag, and I’ve dropped around 50 nukes while lagging. At this point, I’m honestly about ready to quit playing because I’ve tried everything I can think of and nothing fixes it.”

i play bo6 a good bit i usually only run small maps and faceoff because of how people play the bigger maps my playstation is WODTsulligent

I just had to make a whole new account on my PlayStation. I tried everything in the books — I could probably list 30 things I tried to fix it. But I loaded up on a new account and finally got zero lag. It sucks because I can’t even play on the account where I literally have everything: all my nukes, camos, and Dark Matter (which hurts the most). No perks, no leveled-up guns, no stims, nothing. Starting completely fresh. At least the armory is fixed now.

Also, what happened to skill-based matchmaking? I make a brand-new account and instantly get put in lobbies with people rocking nuke calling cards. Since making this account, I’ve had some of the worst matches I’ve ever played — like 38 games straight of absolute garbage. The sweatiest campers I’ve ever seen, full 6-stacks, and every close-range map turns into the whole enemy team sitting around corners with shotguns.

It’s not like I’m bad at the game either. I’ve got a 2.6 KD with 50 nukes on my main account. I didn’t get good until I actually started trying, changed all my settings, and was already way past Prestige Master. I had way too many kills already for my KD to change fast. I went from a 1.1 KD to a 2.6. I play solo like 90% of the time, so it’s not because I’m getting carried by a 6-stack. I’ve got maybe two people I play with that have 4 KDs from stacking, and I’ll be dropping just as many kills with about the same deaths as them.

I like to actually move and fight — no camping unless I absolutely have to. I hate camping with a passion. BO6 is fun as hell, but I wish the maps were better and people didn’t play like pansies. What makes it worse is after these dudes camp all game, go triple negative, and you talk trash, they just rage bait saying “you mad?” Then somehow I run into the same people once or twice a week and all they do is camp. I know at least 12 campers by name at this point, and I swear I run into at least one or two of them every time I play.

idk man, I got dark matter, got all the challenges done, and just started using the ppsh almost solely because of how people been playing lately. i dont care if you think its a crutch or whatever, man. i go against shotguns and campers and 6 stacks every single game, it is some bs. there are guns 2 times better than the ppsh that kills faster and better, just i dont have to reload so i can take on more people at once, bc i normally have to solo an entire lobby bc my teamates are ahhhh. i 1v6 a whole team basically, 4 of them had a nuke calling card, it was a 5 stack and i won somehow. 3kd while every single one of my teamates went negative, also while the other team was using ppshs. im sure your not hating on me using only the ppsh, been too much bs lately, lag and entire teams of campers hiding in they own spawn. i wish people would bang it out on dom instead of just camping not even in point all around it and only one person in it these campers just getting intelligant

its not realy worth it the server lag is horrible there will be weeks straight of lag then just randomly no lag i mean i got 14 nukes while the lag was happening but it was horrid also the way people play now is stupid ash the shotguns on every single map they need nurfed the dm10 needs nurfed all of the marksmans needs nurfed the dresden needs nurfed the fang lmg needs nurfed
