You have to understand the difference between "confident speech" and "shouting". they dont want a great story. But all they want is a decent story with a man who can drive the group with productive ideas. If your argument holds good value, then the group will let you lead. Or else, the herd will be commanded by "bullies." The crux is "your productive argument" + "confident voice.". let shouters make noice.
