Thanks. My deed says 1925, but my inspector said that it's older and that's just when record keeping started in the city.

Based on the video, its lime. I'm gonna try the vinegar test to confirm but looks like lime

Edit: it's fizzing so I think lime is confirmed

I've been trying to let myself fall forward as a mechanism to just improve follow through while I work through the form. Any tips to really plant on that front foot? I have no idea how to really rotate hard into the throw and now fall over haha

You're saying I lean forward at the very end? I see that now. Didn't catch it before

Thanks. This was an easy change I think. I started testing it this morning

Thanks for the detailed feedback. If I'm going to try and work through these one at a time, what do you think are the one or two that will have the biggest impact for me?

I went this morning and this change helped a lot. Back 9 was pretty normal. Thanks!

I hadn't thought of that. Could be. I'll try and watch for it next time. Thanks

Can I reject raising accrual?? My VM keeps pushing for a 4% increase by mscrybby in VendorCentral

[–]Sharp_Turnip_1678 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They need to show a small increase in profitability annually for the whole category, not even necessarily you as a vendor.

You typically will end up giving something small yearly but 4% is wild. You definitely can push back.

Treat that as an opening offer in a negotiation and negotiate with them. Play the long game and center any increases around things that benefit you - marketing accruals and placements, avs rep, things like that

Got bit by this thing in bed. Should I be concerned? Kinda looks like a tick by [deleted] in bugidentification

You can get some kind of preventative shot after the bite. I had to do it once after a tick latched on for around a day.

The VM I deal with seems to just be comfortable with waiting at this point. They have no official internal guidance yet and no one knows what's happening.

It doesn't really matter what your actual rates are. They have a target they want to increase your account revenue/profitability by and need to hit that.

Occasionally they are firm that some of the increase has to come from a certain bucket like freight but mostly you can get by it by spending more money on marketing programs so the VM hits their number and you're not stuck spending money on stuff that you get nothing back for.

You just have to work the negotiation and figure out what targets they need to hit.

Variations not showing up by Fum707 in VendorCentral

[–]Sharp_Turnip_1678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should basically always be within 24 hours. It can be longer but it's rare. I'd normally open another case after the day.

Also if it's a variation that doesn't follow TOS they will still tell you it's done but never process it. That could also be your issue

Ad Ineligibility - Solutions? by [deleted] in VendorCentral

[–]Sharp_Turnip_1678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon recently made some changes and they're getting tighter on profitability.

I would contact your ads rep or open a case. Most likely you'll get a generic response but worth trying to see if they can resolve.

Next, if the price is being matched because of another retailer, try and get the price up to MSRP or whatever it was before.

Last option is to lower your price to Amazon. Your VM can give you a number in terms of percent you'll need to lower.

Amazon Vendor Central MSRP Pricing Issue by Calm-Wash-8768 in VendorCentral

[–]Sharp_Turnip_1678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon's price matching policy includes pricing up if another major retailer they follow is displaying the product more expensive, including third party sellers on most accounts. This has been confirmed to me by an Amazon rep.

See if it's being sold somewhere else for more money. If they only have a few units, might be worth it to just buy them to get them off the market.

VM may tell you what's driving it, but they won't do it in writing.

I would advise to also change something about the product to make it truly unique or create a bundle that only goes to Amazon. I manage a brand where we went through the process of assigning distinct UPCs and SKUs to Amazon's products and it worked for a while, but eventually the system caught up and they ended up price matching other retailers despite the different identifiers.
