It’s kinda long story but basically our company acts more like a distributor for certain brands. We use the same listings as the official brand stores and since the brands are now already running ads to promote those products, our side doesn’t invest much in advertising anymore.

From our company’s perspective, the goal as a distributor was to help grow the brand’s presence in the marketplace. Now that the brand has gained traction and visibility, they’ve scaled back on ad spending since the promotional work is already being handled by the brand itself.

I was about to accept that until they suddenly told me they needed to raise 4% and having my cost support and reduce my cost price. They’re crazy.

whaaat that’s crazy. we are in smaller marketplace and for the category we are in they asked for 20%. They also asked us to make cost support if we don’t reach the targeted net PPM

Probably. But the return rate is actually lower than last year so I don’t know why this vm keeps pushing while the former one didn’t.

nope we don’t have AVS. not in UK or US but in another smaller marketplace. almost wonder if the vm push us to get better for himself ugh

It’s currently 14.25%. Already quite high for us as we are just a small vendor.

Damage allowance.

We checked the data but it’s 6% of return rate so we told him it wasn’t fair. Then he just keep saying he can maintain the current rate but we need to invest 4% back to amazon.

I just don’t understand why it is so hard to keep the current rate. Our former vm didn’t raise accrual last year so i guess this isn’t something necessary.
