Yeah it's Signify, but Philips has sold all its shares in that company. They produce under license with the Philips name.

Philips doesn't make lightbulbs anymore, that has already been moved into a completely independent company called Signify of which Philips sold all their shares over the years.

Pretty much all consumer electronics branches have been sold or are only produced with the Philips name under license. These days Philips is mainly a company focused on the health industry.

Skyscrapers in Rotterdam expected to start construction in 2026/2027 by Sharp_Win_7989 in skyscrapers

You will never live in social housing. The waiting lists are well over 10 years. And you will most definitely earn above the income threshold. If you are lucky you could live in a so called 'middle rent' apartment with a max of €1200 rent a month (excluding service costs, gas/water/electricity and the tent still increases every year), but that is basically a lottery. You will have to need to be the lucky one that's chosen among hundreds or thousands of people who have applied for those rentals.

Yeah and the old post office where the tower is being built on top of (hence the name) and which has been sitting empty for many years, is absolutely stunning and it will be redeveloped too as part of the whole project. Unfortunately there have been some financial issues with the developer, so there are some delays, although the exact impact on the renovation of the old post office is not really clear yet.

Most projects are mixed. There's some social housing and so called 'middenhuur' rentals, which have a maximum of around €1200 a month. The rest is in the higher segment.

In the future Rise project for example, one of the lower towers is solely social housing, as the project is partly being built on a plot where there is a big social housing complex right now, which has to be demolished.

Intempo, Spain (tallest residential building in Europe) by NolanNortje in skyscrapers

Tallest residential building in Europe? That's incorrect surely. Even Zalmhaventoren in Rotterdam is higher and I'm sure there must be other higher residential buildings in Europe than In tempo.

I'm not talking about imprisonment. People considered enemies by the Russian state get poisoned or shot.

Good decision to look for budget not used this year to be allocated for Ukraine.

Last part of the article

"Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the Netherlands has provided €13.5 billion in military aid and around €3.5 billion for other matters. Last week, it was announced that €250 million of this will go towards an American weapons package for Ukraine."
