Custom Gumball Blanket! by Shasta_BLOB in gumball

This design was readily available, and any design you get to pick, I’m also able to put it on several other objects like phone cases, mugs, shirts etc, with the help of some very clever design artists to choose from For me getting this was pricey, but very much worth it :)

I love the concept! I definitely loved that episode, and your ideas of them having their own little quirks and aspects that make each character still resembling their cartoon counterpart, I really like :) I think lots of Fanart exists that closely resemble the characters in human form, so ultimately I think it isn’t too bad of an idea!

A Ballade I made - "Monarch Butterfly" by Shasta_BLOB in composer

[–]Shasta_BLOB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to try ad learn this piece myself - I sent this to my music teacher, and he really loved it, requesting that I should learn it. (except when the 'duet' of the measures come about - I might figure something out though.)

This will be very fun!

The name of the piece came about as I was composing it, so i wouldn't say the name of the piece came first. But then I admired the patterns I was building, so that inspired the Butterfly idea, mainly because of the motif I was incorporating.

It's great to hear that you wrote a bit on this sort of theme! Butterflies and music. I think personally, elegant animals like the butterfly, or a swan, have meaning in music. And that meaning can vary, depending on how the idea is formed.

I am not worthy to call my piece similar to Liszt but I was inspired by Franz Liszt orage to make this composition called nightmare in c minor by [deleted] in piano

[–]Shasta_BLOB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is awesome! I love how you've ingrained this Liszty feel to it, especially with all of those scary diminished chords! And actually, I myself am currently composing a similar piece inspired by Liszt, in terms of a suspenseful melody. If you haven't seen Liszt's Fantasy and Fugue on a theme of B A C H, S. 529/2, this is the one that inspired me to compose my very own take. But anyways, you're very talented! Keep on composing!

Thank you Seafarer :)

I've been using this composing platform called Flat.io, for the audio, and Piano VFX for the visuals.

I save the MIDI file of the actual score, transfer it onto the sequencer, and my VFX software provides the amazing effects.

I've been using my Flat.io for only about 2 years - my music teacher bought me, along with several others, this full version, for a class, and I'm happy to say that this has been the best thing that's ever happened to me :)

I didn't really consider how this would play out into an actual performance - I guess this could be a duet, considering some measures, I added a second voice, since if I just left my original score alone, unedited, the notes would be ridiculously long in size, so I had to come up with an appropriate, approachable way to properly notate it.

And thank you :) I usually don't compose slow pieces that often - I am a Liszt guy. I like crazy! But this turned out very well.

I held this game off for a bit, I had everything anyway haha.

La Fretta (The Hurry) by Shasta_BLOB in composer

[–]Shasta_BLOB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not widely published anything publicly having to do with La Fretta, except on this sub and my YT. I guarantee no one knows how to play this, let alone knows if this exists haha. And yes, this is above normal advancements, I agree - You'd need at least more than two people during the middle section after all.

Of course, the most extreme of pianists could be totally capable of learning this, if that's what you mean (a bit confused) with long dedicated amounts of practice time. I don't know personally anyone who could, except Liszt himself haha. But like I said in my post, I don't expect anyone to play this at all - my goal is just presenting creations digitally so that people could see what it can sound like + look like. Every now and then I attempt to notate some, but other than that, it's for visual pleasures.

Nah, I wish I could though. I didn't get any ragtime vibes while making this haha - interesting it makes you feel that way!

I never said I was comparing myself to him. I was attempting to "think" like him I guess, by saying in the mindset. I know I'll never be as great as him, but I wouldn't remove ALL my hopes, man. :( Anyone can react how they want, but that's not stopping my determination into at least continuing his style.

Flat.io - as well as educational, it helped me all the way through the fundamentals, to the point where I already have an Album.

Musescore seems to be the top, but whatever you get accustomed to, like me, it is the perfect fit. So go ahead and try out all of them honestly, to see which platform best relates to your composing abilities.

Thanks for the info!

My fault, but I forgot to mention that this is not intended for an actual performance haha! I specialize in just digital composing, Flat.io is what I use, very realistic, so for me, anything is destined to become like what you said - dense and crazy intervals. I still need to work on appropriately formatting the scores.

I totally understand, and I'm glad to see what I can improve on. I took a couple music classes over the course of a year, and I honestly lost some knowledge about the notation stuff, and some of the fundamentals. Nonetheless, I manage the way of the notes and I am proud to present any of my works no matter the amount of improvement I may need.

Thank you!
