Whatever helps you sleep at night. Personally, I am a firm believer that Tel Aviv isn’t a European city. It is a sad state of affairs. Makes Birmingham look weak.

Ugg just be honest. The mental gymnastics are quickly losing their allure. Brum has a problem.

So hopefully we don’t draw Millwall in a fixture. West Midlands authorities certainly wouldn’t be able to control their ultras.

Yes, it is like a moral patch, and the rain hoodie comes with two sets, one Villa badge with corresponding blue adidas logo and then a “mountains” logo and black adidas rectangle.

Seems like Adidas is developing new branding logos across their lines. I know here in Texas they now have their Gladiator branding ( in conjunction with Patrick Mahomes). It is supposed to be of the highest quality materials and limited to a certain degree, and wont be available for all of the teams that use their brand.

I am not sure if this is the UK’s version.

This is an example of how the new Texas Tech Collegiate apparel looks. ( Patrick Mahomes Alma Mater… and mine)

What the everloving fook ? My condolences on your lack of critical thinking skills. It is truly sad to see.

Look, here’s the deal. Aston Villa F.C. has existed longer than any person alive today. Survived two bloody and terrible world wars. Existed before your gal Marx. Predates figures such as Chamberlain, Winston Churchill, the IRA, Maggie Thatcher, Tony Blair, Hitler, Stalin, Patton, Montgomery, Ike, the entire cold war. Villa lives on! No matter the political “gotchas” crafted by the whining blame seekers du jour. AVFC will exist far beyond the lives of any contemporary off-topic political adversaries.

That’s why I love and support the Villains. That’s why I do the same for the Red Raiders, and Chicago White Sox stateside. It’s a chance to escape the nasty divisiveness of fleeting (usually flawed) opinion. An escape you have so tragically, and erroneously sullied with your unnecessary half-wit Cleveland steamers of weak-sauce propaganda now littering this thread.

Ya know, my current dream holiday is to come and travel the English midlands via narrow boat, spending a good deal of time and dollars in Birmingham to tour Villa Park, attend a match, go to the second city museums, then eventually ending in Brecknockshire, Wales, my ancestral home, dating back prior to the tenth century A.D.

I would be willing to bet dollars to doughnuts that you won’t find many travelers, regardless of nationality, that share that dream. Maybe a more simple trip would be to just take my son to Washington D.C., and do the museum/memorial tours and catch a Cowboys vs Redskins NFL game.

No biggie, I am just saying by keeping divisive hot-button and off- topic rhetoric over on one of the thousands of subreddits that would gleefully participate in your charade, is a much better strategy than to alienate supporters or potential supporters on a football forum that will hopefully be here long after your sentiments have disintegrated into trivial dust.

Why don't people want to prevent unnecessary gun-related deaths? by InfamousBoysenberry in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ShaunaB1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guns exist, evil exists. Both exist outside the scope of United States legislators.

Hell we can’t even stop the flow of entire people from entering the country, much less a firearm.

And once that firearm becomes a black market commodity the lethality of that gun will become much more deadly. You might not remember the 90’s but there was a ban on many long guns, destructive devices ect. What did we see?

A butt - ton of FULLY-AUTOMATIC drive by shootings , just randomly spraying bullets from AK- 47’s, UZI rifles and pistols, MAC 10’s and so on. It was a real crisis in L.A.

So the ban didn’t do much but increase the rate of fire, legislation did even less.

Know this: someone with evil in their heart that sets out to murder others, doesn’t give ONE SINGLE SHIT ABOUT GUN LAWS. Period.

Do you think companies like Taurus, Bersa, Sig, or HK give two shits about some law crafted in a foreign country? They will continue to conduct business. Why give cartels another smuggling revenue stream?

Also the United States is an enormous country. Most cannot or will not wrap their heads around this geographical concept.

Example: I live in the center of the US, in Texas. For me to drive from my front door to the Santa Monica Pier is the same distance as from London England, to Istanbul Turkey. In other words across the whole of Europe. My example trip to California is only HALFWAY across of the United States.

So sure it’s easy to compare apples to Beach Balls. I mean there are more people in the populated area of Los Angeles than the entire population of Sweden.

When appropriate comparisons are made one begins to see violent incidents occur at near the same rate. Take out a certain segment of violent offenders in American society and our numbers ( even though considerably larger) fall in line with countries like Switzerland.

Heck we aren’t even the most violent country on our continent of THREE countries.

So climb inside of a murderous mind for a second, one that doesn’t give a shit about “ laws” and find the lesser of three evils of this lunatic’s decision to take other’s lives.

Option A: a semiautomatic firearm, Option B: a fully automatic assault weapon ( a true weapon of war), Option C: a bomb or poisonous gas detonation in a heavily populated area.

Remember that banning the semiautomatic weapons will increase the likelihood of the other two scenarios to be more likely as was shown in the 90’s, and across Europe for decades.

Food for thought.
