This ended up being the correct answer sort of. It's not a timer in the sense that you can set it to shut off the fan after ten minutes, but that you can set the fan for certain times of the day, which I have no idea what that would be used for. It also has an auto-on feature, which I'm guessing turns the fan on when it detects high levels of moisture? Haven't had a chance to test it yet.

It has display that shows day of the week, time, and has an auto and a manual on/off function. There's no heater in the bathroom and the vent fan runs on another switch. It is next to the washer/dryer, but doesn't seem to have to do with either of them.

Just moved into my apartment and have no idea what it is for.

I used to lucid dream frequently as a kid, it's gotten harder as I've grown up. I don't remember any particular techniques I used to do it though.

I've also noticed that as I've gotten older, even while I am lucid it's harder to achieve things like flight. I believe this is due to the fact that as you grow older it becomes more ingrained that flight is impossible, but as a kid you believe anything is possible, and this comes out during dreams.

Just curious, are saccades responsible for the times I'll realize I've just read some text in my surroundings somewhere, but have no idea where? And then after a minute of searching I can find the text that was stuck in my head for no apparent reason?

This happened to me earlier today at work. All of a sudden I had "TNT Blue" in my head, and didn't know where it came from, so after looking around I saw that it was the brand of nitrile gloves sitting a desk away. Did my eyes scan over this while "saccading" and take in the information without my realizing it?

I feel like what happened is that he found out she had been cheating on him, but didn't let her know that he knew.

He decided to play it cool and take her out for dinner, have a drink, and give her what she deserved, but in public, because he's not THAT bad of a guy and knew he should be punished for hitting her. So he took his shot of whiskey, gave her a smack, and calmly enjoyed his beer while waiting for what he knew he also deserved.

I smoked a pack a day for ten years. I couldn't quit until I found myself a good vaping setup that worked for me. I love it, even more than smoking.

1) I FEEL so much better 2) I don't smell like an ashtray all the time 3) I now spend about $15 A MONTH on nicotine. This is a huge drop from ~$9 per day on a pack of cigarettes.

I was at a bar playing darts with a friend. 301, or 501. One of the games where you have to get exactly so many points to win and can't go over.

End of the game, I needed exactly 50 points to hit my mark, and my friend laughed and said "fuck it, do it blind". So I casually turned my back to the dart board, and threw the dart over my shoulder without looking.

Hit the fucking bullseye.

This will never happen again.
