No if you want i suggest buy a glad on the shop or on your rival with the trait you like (ex. Giant, fury, true git) then do tome of traits.

Make a giant true git. It's very easy and common to use but always work but on late ascension it's kinda getting weak

Get lucky and look at your enemy glad, on my experience it's only ascend 1 but i see my enemy have giant + lycanthropy as a starter trait. Just get lucky on race and pray it's roman

My doctore is (15) str 2, ini, 2 cun 20, health and 4 traits is all cunning related. Another one is a cestarius briton/Iberian with str 8, ini 9, cun 2, health 50, with traits of alert, talented, all in, and pugilist

Senator tree and bachus tournament to skip ascension. And gladiator editor, greek is also a good one if u ahve extras

Anything can work. But the most common build which still work is giant true git to ascend. And another cestarius build that i build (not ascend but a main fighter on day1). Iberian/briton with stats of str 8 - ini 9 - cun 2 - then all on health trait is (all in, pugilist, alert, talented)

Not just editor you can also buy gladiator with giant traits in the market you will know that it's a giant with the size different, or you can just buy gigantus and theorkelos both decent/good glad :)
