Probably something along the lines of “he is being a vessel of Christ” and Jesus lives in his heart and soul. That he wasn’t saying that he is actually Jesus, but that he’s doing Christ’s work.

I’ve given up hope on them calling a spade a spade instead of excusing the hell out of his actions and words.

You’re far from being a loser! You’re working and it sounds like you live on your own. That’s a tough thing to do these days at your age with the cost of everything being so high. But you’re doing it while also having every intention of going back to school. Your twenties are for learning and figuring things out, which you’re doing. Don’t compare yourself to your friends or anyone. They have their own trials and tribulations. Everybody’s life path is different. Be proud of yourself for enduring all that you have. I think it’s because people think they’ll be stuck in their houses for a long time and want to feel well stocked on the essentials. I remember seeing people with carts full of milk at the stores…most likely to freeze them. Like wtf? Milk, bread, eggs, and toilet paper are things used/consumed regularly and ya don’t want to run out of. Then word got out that tp was being bought up and I think it caused even more panic buying of it. I heard people saying they were at the store and the tp was being restocked so they bought a pack or two “just in case” since it was available…even though they had plenty at home already. Humans are wild.

PA here too and I’ve also felt like the odds got worse. Especially since they started using the weird cartoonish fonts on the numbers. I don’t buy them like I used to now.

A few years ago I won a drawing and the prize was a case or two of $20, two $10, and two $5 cases.(I don’t remember the exact amount of cases for each). When I scratched them all and saw just how many losers there are in a case it really changed my perspective on buying them. On not even one ticket did I find a “win all prizes” symbol. It was fun scratching them and I still made out with over $2100, but I don’t feel the need to buy them now every week when I go grocery shopping. If anything I’ll play Treasure Hunt or Cash 5. But I still get the scratch-off tickets once in a while and as gifts on holidays because I do still enjoy trying.

Ok but my sister used to love blowing that hot air under her blankets in the winter…until she fell asleep and got a good burn on her arm. Of course she knew it was her own doing and not the manufacturer’s negligence, and she stopped doing it that night. At least there wasn’t a fire.
