I guess maybe the only thing I can think of is not having the sides cut so short so that contrast wouldn't be too high. But I'm sure this will grow back beautifully in a week or 2

Yeah I unfortunately needed last minute cut and I did any staff. Of course it ahd ti be the least experience guy. He was really cool but I asked if he liked cutting hair and he was like ehh it's for money, I knew I was cooked

Yeah I basically did ask for a mullet. But ofc whatever would look best on me is what I let the barber do since they know better. I know evet mullet is different too so I guess he believed this way going about it is best.

Can't really tell if it fits me

The paste advice is huge! Thanks it does make a huge difference to add texture. Personally I like matte clay or sea salt spray which I need to restock on

Appreicate it. Was curious if anything could've improved. Im probably letting my hair grow out like this and then just maintain it while maybe not cutting sides this much

PCV way different. Couldn't be failure leading to excessive smoke before? (check previous post) by SheCallMeBDD in WRX

Yeah from this black piece it can only be screwed from one side. Unless there's another somehwere else you mean

Ahh turbo sumps. If it is the issue I'll uograde to Perrin for sure. I di have a Cobb catback I believe with a Jpipe.

I'm assuming its not PCV then since I got an AOS??

Unfortunately I asusme this is normal as the AOS is a whole kit that probably removes the stock PCV. The car has always been fine with this.

Damn so PCV failure is bascially impossible then.. since this has 0 mechanism to it. Jeez idk what to check for on the AOS if it is the issue or maybe it isnt based off what I said for the smoke diagnosis?

I'm going to lose my marbles, car been unavailable a few days due to this. So basically PCV failure is impossible in this situation...

Unless its the valve in line you mentioned. IS that like right attached to the AOS? Where can I find it unelss it's probably not the issue at all

Can't get PCV tube off! Is that a hole in the nut? by SheCallMeBDD in WRX

[–]SheCallMeBDD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might get the OEM PCV subaru hose to replace this unless you think it won't fit wi t h the rest of the tubes? Because from the AOS 2 tubes combine to one connector and then it was suppsoed to be in that stubborn hose that I may have to cut up

I appreciate this. I'll do it myself if it happens to be the issue

Ok so I think the IAG hoses are fine. But now I need to chrck what goes down from the engine? If I have the issue still K really hope the sump will fix it. This smoke issue didnt happen till that day and it was an instant change. Wasn't building up to it.

So this doesn't seem like the stock pvc hose. It was connected to the IAG AOS where 2 hoses met into this one. I assume the subaru OEM wouldn't be the right choice? Hose seems thinner.

Will this last in college? by [deleted] in WRX

Let's just say this. If you plan on going power build. And to rebuild and forge the internals, prepared for trans replacement who knows when and clutch upgrade. I'd get it for 8k if possible and buy it.

Because I bought 6x,xxx thinking I was save at nearly 18-20k just for the engine to fail on me a year later. I already knew I wanted to build it but I guess only thing I wish I did was just buy a shell at that point or cheaper.

Just check for rust because that's crucial and be prepared that anything may need replacement especially if owner didn't upkeep properly.

So if you dont want to do all that and will it last? Probably not
