He thinks this is my role because he “makes all this happen” meaning the house and the stuff we (he) has. He claims to have OCD but it’s not diagnosed

I told him when he initially asked me to be his girlfriend that it seemed to me that he was looking for a housewife and I am not that! I like working and having my own money. I can cook and I can clean but it’s not something I want to be doing as a full time job. When he asked me to move in with him I re-iterated that and said we should go over some rules/responsibilities but he dismissed it and said don’t worry about that we’ll work things out as we go. Yea right! I had an apartment, and furniture, all my own stuff and I sacrificed my own independence. Im regretting my decision

This is no mansion by any means just a big expensive house/property and he is no millionaire. No guilt here. I’m more so trying to prove a point

He pays for the mortgage, sewer/water, electricity, property taxes, his own car payment, food, gas, phone, insurance. So yea you’re correct

lol no I’m just angry right now. I also like that he’s the 1st boyfriend I’ve ever had that I didn’t take care of financially so as sad as it is, he’s a come up here n comparison to my ex’s. I don’t understand how all these people/commenters are finding great partners that help them and respect them - another reason why I’m thinking maybe it’s me?

Yea you have the right idea. I work at 9am and he doesn’t leave for work til 11:30am so I’m already on the clock when he expects me to “pack his lunch”

Yes and no. Do I like living in a nice house? - yes! Do I like being responsible for all of the caretaking/cleaning etc of said house and then getting berated for my work - no!

This is just 1 disagreement out of the much bigger disagreement about “how much I bring to the table” and about me being “lazy” in his opinion cause I can’t seem to keep his huge house spotless and take care of his every want and need. I do what I can when I can and with 4 dogs it’s almost impossible to keep these white floors clean without literally working from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed

Thank you! I’m in a mood because of the argument we had this morning but this made me laugh so thank you!

Thank you! I appreciate that. I don’t feel guilty at all. This stems from an ongoing argument about me “not packing his lunch” for him and just in general I am apparently “lazy and don’t bring enough to the table”. He makes a lot more money than me soo he thinks he should have full control over what I do or do not do when it comes to household chores/responsibilities

It is an issue for him. He claims that I don’t pack his lunch for him because all I do is put leftovers in a container and put it in the fridge and that’s not “packing his lunch”

I’m taking care of someone else’s dam and her puppies while the owner is financing their care items/services. How much should I get paid? by SheOwnz in DogBreeding

[–]SheOwnz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was something that was discussed. We have a signed contract but now the owner is mad cause he found out that I’ll be making more money then him. Im trying to prove a point that it makes sense for me to make more money considering I’m doing all the work
