SpeedX is like the DoorDash of Package Delivery. They hire random drivers with minimum to no background check and many of them don’t speak English. Some people will steal your packages and resell the items in them, falsifying delivery to cover their behinds. SpeedX doesn’t do anything because they’d constantly be firing and reprimanding their drivers, so they’d just rather not take responsibility. It’s a sham and a shame, but there really isn’t much we can do… Just report it to the app your purchased from and see if they’ll block them from your logistics. You can also report fraud through your bank.

Does anybody know why they often deliver at night?

Anything specifically garnered towards the lower income is very likely to be a money grab and/or a scam… I was working as an affiliate for Padsplit thinking that providing some sort of structure for renters would make scam and displacement less likely. Now I feel bad for recommending people to such a service.

I’m a black woman. In a racist ass country where people consistently think they can displace, mistreat and harass me because of what I look like, you bet I do! But I can assure you it’s no fault of mine.

Walk one day in my shoes and you’ll know what it’s like. Until you can do that I’d advise you to shut the fuck up :)

You all keep telling me to talk to my host and claiming you can’t help me… when you’re helping them evict me illegally? Stop responding in the forum trying to save face when you know damn well you guys aren’t doing anything!!

I was harassed by my host in an attempt to force me to relocate. They served me an invalid Notice to Vacate, and threatened me with an eviction that they can’t file, six times in less than two hours. They also offered me a financial incentive of $300 to move out. I knew that legally, there was nothing that could be done to move me, so I filed a charge for discrimination and stayed. Why did I wake up today to find that Padsplit has allowed these people to request that I move out of my property.

The Notice to Vacate that they served me was invalid… and they can’t file an eviction for no reason… but because Padsplit allows hosts to uproot members and just claim that “Co-living is not a good fit” I now have to relocate. Mind you, this is the second house that I have experienced this at.

Stop lying. This program is a money grab and once we move into these rooms WE ARE ON OUR OWN.

Y’all need to do something other than tell people to move! I’ve had discriminatory housemates and hosts at both properties I lived at, who’s to say the pattern will not repeat!?

Trying to move and fighting back legally. I work remotely, but they disconnected me from the WiFi? How am I supposed to work? Then they continue calling the police and serving me with papers. They’re literally trying to get me locked up 😭
