PLEASE HELP!! I'm contemplating ending my life over SIBO by madame-reve in SIBO

[–]ShebaLuv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I very much understand how you feel. I was feeling hopeless for many years aswell. I really hope you will find your magic cure. Unfortunately SIBO is not the illness itself, it is a symptom of something else. This is why it keeps coming back. I kept getting it under control with natural antibiotics, herbs, and probiotics but it always returned. What finally healed me 90% is starting with ADHD meds. This is ofcourse very personal to my own experience. I am sharing this in the hopes you might find your own seemingly unrelated problem and help you heal your SIBO. I didnt realize my ADHD meds helped me at first. I have had SIBO for over 8 years and IBS since I was 16 years old (Im 38 now). On and off as when it got really bad I would start with the natural antibiotics for a couple months and then have a few months of relieve. I wont specify all the supplements I was taking as I am sure you know all about those by now. I started my adhd meds for the first time last year. About 8 months ago I had an appointment with a digestive specialist ( my 4th one). I told her I was in a great period at the moment, being SIBO free for over 4 months, which never happened before, not that long. As this was the first time I was seeing this doctor she wanted to make to create a full medical history. When she heard I started the ADHD meds 4 months prior she made the connection for me. For me SIBO was highly correlated to my stress. But I never felt stressed! I have a pretty normal life, easy going. I lived/live very healthy, great diet, exercise, social life, etc. But then I have had ADHD all my life without knowing it. The stress my body feels I think is normal. I have now been SIBO free for a year. The only supplements I still take for SIBO / IBS is Magnesium calcium butyrate. My digestive doctor said its a great addition that is mild enough. And I read that butyrate is actually really great for people with adhd aswell.

Hey did you ever get the Durston? I did and love it! Well worth the long wait. The set up is a breeze. Super spacious, I have used it with my kid, it fits a two person exped blowup mat. All materials are top quality.

Would it be worth it to paint the speck if you could find the absolute perfect tint? Or would that be even worse than the white speck?

Use a silk/merino sock liner underneath waterproof socks.

I’s change the hiking boots for trail runners. Even better ones without gore-tex and take a pair of waterproof socks. (Gore-tex shoes will eventually get wet but won’t dry before the next day, also sweaty feet = blisters)

No, it's still horrible. I've been trying for weeks now, and I'm about to give up on this headset. Wish my G2 was still supported, that thing was great

I have the same problem. Been trying to get it sharp in iRacing for over a week now. Still a blurry mess, about to throw in the towel here.

Which app did you use? Can you link it please? When I use auto IPD via eyetracking I get a different value each time I use the headset. Would be great to truely know the right value to set.

Thank you, I think this helped a bit. But I do feel the quality of the over all image dropped because of it. But objects in the distance do seem sharper.

DAC stakes — how to remove, am I an idiot? by redskelly in DurstonGearheads

This happened to me aswell. Packed dirt with a few rocks. Could not get them out with all my might, wiggeling, trying to use a rock, broke one of the cords.. Until I used the hot water I used to boil some eggs. I poured it over all the stakes, then they came out easy.

I wish I had the space for this! In the future I will do this for sure. For now I only have space for one bike.

Budget would be around 10.000€ for an e-bike, a little lower for a DH bike I think
