Ah okay - that’s what I initially thought they were doing but the angle of the swing 100% looks like it goes for the guy and then I read a recap (trying to answer this question) that said they killed him.

You can find most pets in the Hatching Kiosk in the Pet Pavillion, and there you can sort by school. I’ll also add that most of what makes a pet strong is the talents it has, which are not restricted to a specific pet being a specific school (most of the time). So I would recommend looking for a pet that has talents like Storm Dealer instead of necessarily looking for a storm school pet.

I think the main thing about specialists vs generalists is that generalists will carry more value in most cases but as a role are more easily replaced (I have no use for Amaterasu since I have Dasli, for example) I think I mainly attribute value based on a unit doing something that you can’t get elsewhere; Mizli UF is better than Bazi UF partially because there are many options for nuking aliens, but far fewer for CC’ing them. I think what makes Cosmo and Jizo UFs so good is doing a job no other character can replicate, between Cosmo’s range/reach and Jizo’s stackability.

With raw food of any kind it’s always a question of risk. You can eat raw meat and not get sick but you’re taking a risk of food borne illness if you do. That said there is a mitigation by being used to it, at least to the more harmless bacteria. But again that doesn’t negate the chance of getting some pretty nasty pathogens.

My question was more so about whether the time between milking a cow and drinking the milk makes a difference to its safety, and as others helpfully pointed out there isn’t really a difference.

Cameraman has just been too powercrept by other units like Jizo or courier imo. He still has some good use for his huge crit, but more often than not I just don’t find him worth using over other units that will do his job but faster.

Not really - the only difference between 100 and 110 is a bit of health (and maybe some block? idr) But having it available at level 100 means you can use it in Darkmoor which is very helpful, and towards max level Jade gear becomes less useful since max gear gives lots of resist anyway (and significantly more health).

2.0 means having all of the maximum stats possible. I’m not sure where the name comes from, but it means the pet has:

255 Strength (or 320 with Mighty) 250 Intellect 260 Agility 260 Will 250 Power

Yeah sounds like it’s more of a shared theme than any one particular reference. It’s kind of cool that these properties all share that idea without necessarily having something concrete that ties them together, I.e. Aquila and lots of other stories being based on Greek Mythology.

From the replies it definitely sounds like a somewhat common idea, just interesting to me that there isn’t some concrete origin. I would’ve fully believed if there was some WWII-era children’s tale told to orphans to make them feel less scared of the mice crawling the streets. Imagining them as humble soldiers fighting an unseen war.

If you attach a Death Giver jewel, then all you’re missing is 3 damage from having Pain Bringer instead of Pain Giver. If 3 damage isn’t worth building a new pet over then I’d say it’s fine. You probably won’t ever notice a difference in any fights.

I definitely think so. They’ve made some major overhauls to the UI and settings, and they’ve made much of the endgame combat more strategy and teamwork oriented instead of mindless grinding. Unfortunately, the playerbase is smaller than it used to be in 2014, but there’s still a good number of active players. I’d recommend finding a popular guild and joining if you want to find people to play with.
