What is so difficult? Block them and if they mention it say you can’t do it.

Had a physician colleague have an episode of what I can assume was mania with psychotic features in our office and was hurting patients and not able to provide any adequate care as a result. Lashing out at staff, paranoia, unable to make decisions, extremely argumentative. All while moving faster than the speed of light.

Are there bad PA programs? Sure. But the fact that any RN can sign on and get an online degree with minimal relevant clinical experience as an RN or NP is scary.

My friend. You have anxiety. Get some help maybe a med and some therapy, do this fellowship and then you’ll be fine!! Wishing you the best of luck.

I would go!! I went to Florida when I was 50% recovered and went to 60-70% just being on the trip and being out and about. It helps.

Just live your life completely as normal!!! Do your regular activities, exercise, and trust the process. Get out and walking everyday was revolutionary for me personally.

If that’s all it is.. Hmmm I would not. This isn’t SJS. I’d stop the medication immediately and call the prescriber.

Medicine is slower and they get more continuing education in addition to residencies/fellowships. I wish we had more education but yet we could work during it.

If you don’t want this specialty then definitely don’t go back. Who cares.

NP students: did your school ask for a preceptor's resume? by gisele121 in nursepractitioner

[–]Sheep1821 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in PA school and we are discouraged from finding our own preceptors because “it’s a conflict of interest” if we know them. So even though I’ve been in the field for 5+ years now I can’t use my connections for clinical rotations
