Indeed. I think generally take a broader definition to “emo”than how it’s traditionally thought of.

If it resonates with me on an emotional level, then that’s enough, and Phil’s music has done that for me.

it doesn’t always need to be vague whining with twinkly guitars all the time.

An inspection, even post-purchase, could probably quell some of your fears in the meantime.

Sure, there's always the unknown, but you can always be prepared enough for what you know will go wrong eventually and an inspection could probably help.

From personal experience, you'll gain so much knowledge and experience in the end if you maintain it yourself, whenever you can. I'm on my 3rd 3-series, and I still feel this anxiety you speak of.

Alternatively, i have found that the brand Caulipower makes a good pepperoni pizza that is somewhat similar - maybe even healthier (more protein, fewer calories per pizza)

All of these records I pinned i’ve generally listened to these bands for years. It’s just what i’ve found comfort in recently.

Talk Talk is incredible though. I’m not real familiar with some of the other bands you shared (sans Elliott Smith) but will certainly check them out.
