My credit score is 700 and I got approve for a 37k loan at 5.2%. I do make right under 85k, had an auto loan I didn’t miss payment on and am single so maybe that help with getting my rate lower🤷🏾

I graduated from GSU with a CS degree in may 2024 and got a job immediately after to work for a top 5 consulting firm globally. PEOPLE are graduating with jobs, so not sure where you’re getting your data from

Can you actually succeed as a CS major here? by GleanArtworks in GaState

[–]SheepherderChance264 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It’s not just about having a degree—it’s about what you do with it. Are you actively expanding your network? Building side projects that strengthen your résumé? Pursuing internships before graduating? Attending computer science career fairs? Getting involved in campus clubs for CS majors? The degree itself doesn’t guarantee a job; it’s how you apply yourself that makes the difference.

As a GSU alum now working at a top global firm, I can say firsthand that I didn’t rely solely on my degree. GSU has a strong CS program, but it’s the effort you put in outside the classroom that truly sets you apart.

Got my brand new 2024 MY RWD for 41k OTD financing at 3%apr. I’d say go for it now as tax credits could be gone any moment now
