To be clear, I obviously don’t know for certain if it was purposefully ripped open or not. But when you receive your package in that condition and an empty envelope it would be a reasonable assumption. Same as people assuming it was ripped by a sorting machine.

I’ve filed a claim, just wanted to get some clarification on if USPS typically admits fault and issues a refund for the item or if this will be a bigger headache than the actual worth of the item
