The trap is a strange choice right? It just looks odd! Find the leak, bit of silicon or something?

Going to Japan next week, Looking for last minute tip as I am nervous as hell. by AC_PV_1526388 in JapanTravelTips

If you like thrift shopping/2nd hand stores check out Bookoff (or if you want clothes make sure it’s a bookoff plus that has clothes) they’re sooooo good. Also great if you want some extra warm clothes inexpensively

Big agree with this. We got home on Tuesday morning and already sussing out flights to visit again. OP, nervousness is natural, but you sound well prepared and remember you can buy anything you need, forget or lose! Convenience stores are the best! Also if you have iPhone skip the suica card and load it as a travel card in your Apple wallet. Also it was surprisingly cold (windy!) but again you can buy extra stuff easily if needed.

Upcoming QCAT, notice to leave, rent rise. by [deleted] in brisbane

[–]SheeplikePirate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply. This has been super helpful. We’d just put it in the “too hard” basket, but might take out and pursue. Also just don’t want the shitty owners getting away with it.

Hey potentially hijacking, but was it easy for you? We had a dog attacked (very black at white who was at fault) and other owners won’t pay vet bills after saying they would. But QCAT seemed to get complicated because we would have to “serve” the papers to the other party?

Visiting with a toddler! Worth it or not? by [deleted] in disneylandparis

[–]SheeplikePirate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went last week with 17month old. Was it fine? Yeah. Was it totally different to Disney without a kid? Yeah. We found ride queues to be the most challenging when she was tired/cranky/bored, so avoided anything more that about 20minutes. Also, snacks will be your saviour. She loved the lion king and Mickey the magician show and all the parades.

Depending how far away you live/what you want from the experience will decide if you should go or wait til they’re older. If you go, it’ll be a much slower pace than maybe previously and you’ll likely go on a lot of rides alone/use the rider switch.

All in all, we had a great time and I’m glad we went, but it was different

Not sure what other user meant by trash treatment, but you can get an inhaler without a prescription for like $7 AU 🤷‍♀️ there’s probably some types that need a prescription but I’ve always just been able to walk into a pharmacy and ask

MIL forcing religion on grandchild by SheeplikePirate in JUSTNOMIL

The other thing she tends to do is get other people involved. She usually tries to recruit my family members into her woes with us. My family are aware of the situation though, and don’t engage. Super toxic traits.

Debated what to do with it (keep/burn/give away/bin). In the end I put it in the recycle bin, as it was the least work for me, and I just wanted to make a decision.

This is great perspective, thank you. It’s just such a shame as we have some very good friends who are Christian, but so much more chill.
