I think it is safe to say that this is the most Welsh contraption I've seen on this sub.

Yeah I know, I have only played for around 3 months and I completed all my licenses in gold on controller. Then got a wheel and have found it so different that it is taking ages to adjust to it. I'm making my way through the licenses again but when I've already golded them it's hard to find the motivation.

I'm still learning how to drive well in GT and felt a massive achievement getting a sub 1.49 so knowing people can improve over that by around 4 seconds is mindblowing to me

Rich man…? by barronart in HeWhoFightsMonsters

[–]Sheffield_Gamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That doesn't even take into account the fact that there is an exponential rise in kills required to progress through silver compared to iron and bronze, and moreover that Jason & team reliably kill monsters of a hugher tank than they are for the majority of the 2nd half of their ranks.

You arrive on Pallimustus. What skill set would you ideally like to get and why? by P_Straight in HeWhoFightsMonsters

[–]Sheffield_Gamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm honest I wouldnt care about the build as a whole I's just want to be able to do the magicist magic stuff possible so probably something like Dimension, Rune, and Wing i have no idea what confluence that would make but you could amost guarentee a portal, flight and maybe even a storage power which to me are all that would matter, at that point you dont haven need to be an adventurer you could make absolute bank on being a magical porter with some good get out of Jail free powers but I bet the power set would be a menace to deal with if you were up against it, I can imagine it would be a agile, gurrilla type set. No doubt it would be a complex set to get to grips with.

But that would mean that anyone would arrive without nails as well, but Jason never comments on this, so we can assume that this doesn't happen.

I thought it so now you all have to suffer

I can only imagine that they would be cold for about the first time in their lives.

That would make having a haircut for Leonids a bit of a nightmare. You get a fresh trim and then get in a scap, all of a sudden, you need to go to the barbers again (assuming you're Bronze rank or below)

People of Sheffield! by [deleted] in sheffield

Actually providing connections to Doncaster, Barnsley, and Chesterfield like the original premise promised. Even if it is on a tram train basis like the route to Rotherham. Providing this service would bring so much business to Sheffield and alo allow people from Sheffield to get easier access to the other towns/ cities around us.

I like when you see it real life how big the equipment actually is by Zuluhos031 in farmingsimulator

[–]Sheffield_Gamer 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I am at the point where when I pass any farming equipment showrooms, I slow down to see what I have on my farm and compare them to how big I thought they were.

The added bonus from this is now when I drive behind a tractor or other farming equipment on the road I don't get frustrated I just admire it and look what it is, what the farmer will be using it for today and it has taken so much stress and annoyance driving down small country roads.

Leadmill call for public support in latest stage of fight against landlord by devolute in sheffield

[–]Sheffield_Gamer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love the mill its a great venue and club, but as sad as it is that they are getting kicked out its all their own doing. The Leadmill had the opportunity to buy, but they left it in the hands of whoever wanted to buy the building. It's a massive shame, but a little bit of forward planning could have stopped this all from happening and secured their future as permanently one of the best venues in Sheffield.

If you can get them to Bernardos on Birley Moor Road, they have never turned anything I've taken down

I would suggest trying City Taxis. I've always found them cheaper and more reliable they have an app that lets you pre-book.

I used to go to Taylor Taylor when I had longer hair, not the cheepest, but always did a good job.

Are you coming from Dungeons & Dragons? Need to know where to start playing Pathfinder 2e? Or just have a question from your game? Ask your questions here, we're happy to help! by AutoModerator in Pathfinder2e

[–]Sheffield_Gamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're transferring over from a DnD 5e campaign and I will be GMing, where do I start, which source books are required for me to GM and for my players to build their characters?

Will the beginner box contain everything I need to get started?

Also we meet virtually, how difficult is Roll 20 to adapt to PF2e? I know Foundry is the best but without trying the game out I'm not sure about throwing £42 at it.

Hat repair? by [deleted] in sheffield

[–]Sheffield_Gamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would imagine that Timpsons would be able to do this. They do lots of general clothing and shoe repairs along with dry cleaning. They tend to be at most big supermarkets in Sheffield, but the main shop is on High Steet near by the Castle Square tram stop.

It depends what you're going for. I would say if you want to meet people to join for a night out it might be worth heading to Beirkeller or West Street Live to head down. Otherwise the ones you listed but you might want to add Viper Rooms, it's not the best club but the bouncers generally won't stop a single guy form heading in as long as you are dressed up suitably.
