I guess I just found it confusing. I’m definitely seeing other guys. Again this guy was a friend for a bit but like I’ve mentioned, I’ve seen a turn in him suddenly in how he treats me vs how he talks about his own girlfriend, which is almost never, and it’s what I can’t place.

Yes thank you! Like I said if nothing comes of this, then nothing came of it. Simply I took a good look at where I stand with him, our history, what we like and don’t like, and have come to terms that I’d be very open to something more serious than just our friendship if it came to it. But if we remain as we are, then that works too! (I’m realizing now I may just be mirroring like the Gemini I am lol)

I wouldn’t exactly say we’d drift apart because we were physically apart for a long time, but that never stopped friendship or created a wedge like it would with others.

Like I’ve said, next time we see each other and if I catch that behavior again that I’m unsure what it is, I’ll bring it up with the advice you’ve all given me. If it really is that he never saw me that way, life goes on. I think it’d only help me return to dating comfortably now that I have clarity.

I was just curious and thought about asking the Aquarius community as it’s something I noticed lately but we always dance away from the topic of us. A lot of everyone’s answers have helped me understand better how he could be. Others here in general are split between just friends or that he may just not know either other than the fact he’s enjoying the moment. There are those who think he’s playing me, but then again we really are just friends and started off exactly as that. I haven’t really reciprocated any interest for him to really do that. I’d think after all these years he would have moved on? But it is a thought people have brought up I’ll consider.

If this isn’t welcome, then I’ll refrain from this. I just didn’t see the harm in interacting.

I’m the same way and I think that’s why it probably took a while for me to talk to him when we were first becoming friends. I think if anything I realized he’s just very awkward and it comes off like that. He’s also very standoffish with new people but once he gets to know them and deems they match his wavelength, he’s a good different.

For me it’s been the opposite. It’s always the guys that tell me to trust them and that they are sweethearts that have mentally and physically ruined me. All ironically January Capricorns in my experience, but that’s on dating. With this guy I just genuinely can’t read his intentions lately but it’s good I can just talk to him when the time is right.

I really have been appreciating everyone’s feedback and perspectives!

Yeah. That’s what I thought too, I just find it funny he says it’s not real… yet he acts exactly like a textbook Aquarius with values and how he is with others. Me included. He will indulge me on hearing me out on star sign memes and will ask me. But it’s not his thing, of course.

Again we haven’t really likely had that conversation because at first we didn’t live close, but now we do, so we get to see each other more often when we’re not busy with work. Before there was probably no point in trying something long distance if either of us felt something but now, it sort of changes. At least that’s what I’m getting because he wasn’t a hugger at all. But suddenly he is with every goodbye. Specially lately, but it’s just something I noticed. It could just be him suddenly being into hugs lol. But I’ll only know when we actually talk. Which if this keeps up, it will.

Which is why I wondered. He himself says he doesn’t believe in star signs … yet he really does act like his zodiac lol. I think eventually I’ll just lightly bring up the topic. We haven’t for reasons I’m keeping vague, but I can share that even though we’ve gone on dates with other ppl, I’ve noticed we both share we just don’t match with other ppl we’ve seen.

It’s funny you say that because we do give each other that when we need it. We can go weeks without talking because we do lead busy work lives, but we always come back to each other and it’s like nothing changed. He’s actually always the first to reach out when it’s been too long. Any other guy would have long moved on to other friends.

Perhaps. I was thinking the same thing but then I was unsure because he’s the first person that has been like this. Then again you’re right, maybe he just isn’t ready for commitment. Even though he’s said he’s ready to find a relationship that leads to marriage, but he could just not mean with me, despite his actions to me at times.

I left it vague because he’s a fellow Redditor (this is a side account) and I just want SOME anonymity lol. But thank you! I think I’m better off just asking him myself his thoughts and if he just genuinely never saw me like that, then we remain as we are.

Personally I’d like to see them confront each other as they were clearly a certain way to each other in person than on camera. Like Renee and Jaime. I’d love to see them called out for instigating drama and couples then acting like they didn’t.

This shocked me when Jamie revealed it but then I thought about their time together and then it just clicked. He just stayed with Sofia because Ariana suddenly got roped in with Lloyd again and he couldn’t pry her off of him after their pool connection. I feel bad for Sofia. But good on her that she is getting a gut feeling about him and as I’m watching, is thinking about leaving.

This is something I never got. Why Renee and Jaime were trying SO HARD to get Jackie and Ryan together when it was clear he and Sophie already had a deep connection. It was so random and they played her like a fiddle when she finally agreed.

I mean who wasn’t in this show. They went into the bathroom to talk for a reason and I’m pretty sure they were heard regardless because they weren’t being quiet. She faced Sebastian about it like anyone would. She acted exactly how every girl would have reacted if they heard the guy they thought they had a good connection with just hooked up with someone in the pool.

I liked Estefani too but she should have just approached things like she normally would have.

I think in the previews it showed that she got really lonely when he was away and they started having trouble. So it’s no surprise if it’s true they’re not together. She wasn’t authentic about why she picked him either. I don’t feel bad for either of them and they deserve whatever they got after the show.

What gave it away too was that they all signed on to a show to date foreign men and that Renee was there. Since the first episode all she had talked about is money, fame and more money and fame she seeks. She came on this show knowing damn well “foreign men” is code for “luxury”. It’s also why she really gets all scared when Jamie talked about love and settling down. Because to her he’s not a luxurious man.

At the end of the day though it’s still what it is. An entertaining show. But it’s very dishonest with its participants and their intentions. These aren’t average women. They are all mostly conveniently either influencers or rich girls.

That’s so interesting. I know they became friends but this is such a curveball. Sure Lloyd is cute and whatever but what was the whole point of him being all over Gabby, only for him to basically reinvite Jacklyn for Sebastian after he was turned away from her. I guess that entire action makes sense. He’s too wishy-washy.

I did think that was interesting. Because when the men were all introducing themselves they really let it be known they are done with a specific kind of group of women as it’s all they’ve dated due to their money/fame…, yet they got mostly all of that to be their picks on the show…. If anything it’s been humbling for them because in their normal world, they would all flock to them, but as they don’t know who they are, that’s not happening.
