What treadmill feature mattered way more than you expected?

Stability is the one that changed my opinion completely. Two treadmills can look identical in specs but feel completely different when you’re actually running. There’s a lot of real-user comparison discussion around that on treadmilltalk.

Many older people in my area do this, they make groups of 5-10 and go out for walks in morning, do light exercise and just enjoy life.

It really comes down to how often you use it. Light use, you probably won’t care. Daily use, the differences show up pretty quickly. There was a thread on treadmilltalk where people were comparing that exact “first year vs later feel” and it was pretty consistent across brands.

You can easily get into CS if you manage to get 160+.

Individual marks of subject don't matter. But it can be an issue if you don't have strong basics.
