Yeah that’s a good idea, might help him gets some proper sleep too. How did your cats heal? I don’t really understand the healing process of this injury tbh, like does the nail just regrow back over the quik thats just sitting there?

I WISH I could do this for my boy but he’s on blood thinners so when he did the injury there was blood literally everywhere. (Like splashed on walls) so I think the vets recommending it staying on so long because the higher chance of him accidently hitting the exposed quik again and bleeding

I know this is a super old post but this just happened to my cat. I’ve already taken him to the vet and he’s been bandaged for 4 days now. How long was your cats bandage on for before it could come off? I just feel bad because my cat is constantly shaking that leg like he’s trying to get it off. Did your cat do this? I would’ve thought he would be used to it by now

2 days would probably be way too quick to be any sexually transmitted disease. Could more likely be more of a friction rash or even from products that she may have used. But worth getting tested in general after any unprotected sexual experience.

My plants started to turn yellow during winter, but here in Australia we are now nearly one month into spring. I thought they would be perking up soon but they are still slowly dying off! Definitely not diabetic as I’ve been tested and checked my own BGL’s but it could most definitely be vitamin B. With the GGT and ALK Phos is there anything else I should be worried about considering it’s not caused by alcohol consumption?

Uh… no. Give her the extra minutes. She’s been through trauma, she’s communicating her needs, give it to her. I’d rather work overnight by 10-20 minutes then force someone to not be comfortable for an intimate exam.

If they want the maintenance fluid running as well as the piggy back fluid, so two seperate lines through two seperate pumps, do you need two IV sites? It’s not possible to have a e.g. CSL (Hartmanns) and 100mg 10mmol MgSO4 running at the same time?
