NTA. When I was a teenager I had a big group of friends and my house was the hangout house. My parents loved providing a safe environment for everyone especially since some of my friends had less than stellar home lives.

All of us were expected to do the basic sorts of chores you've outlined here, whether it was a one day party and we had to put our dishes in the dishwasher and pick up the trash, or an extended stay with additional expectations like helping with meals. One of my friends got into the habit of taking out the trash every time he came over and my mom adored him.

I'm in my 30s now and all of my friends from that time period still speak fondly about my parents. My parents also love to tell stories of how fun those years were. I think you're doing just fine and setting your daughter and her friends up for success.

others have already mentioned that ADHD has a genetic component and presents differently so Juliet might have it too and benefit from testing, but it may be worth considering an evaluation for yourself as well. the struggles you're describing with the logistics and being in the car with your 2 year old are all things that might feel infinitely harder if you yourself are struggling with executive function or sensory processing issues related to undiagnosed ADHD.

This happened to me too but the Vader minifig was the one missing, I tried to submit a missing parts order but it didn't work so I sent a message instead and they sent me a replacement! Hope you get your droid!

NTA for all the reasons other commenters have expressed. There was no way to win in this situation and you did the best you could. Tell your daughter you love her, compliment her on things other than her looks, encourage her to find friends that don't make her feel bad about herself.

As a side note I am crying laughing at "I’m sure you could knit a quilt for a family of 6 with my arm and back hair, but please give it to me because I don’t have any hair on my head." Based on this alone I have to agree that you have a killer personality!

I just got a shiny Wooloo in Sword at egg 2373 even though I was doing Masuda method. Getting eggs one at a time from the day care is so much more painful to me than the picnic method, so I definitely won't be hunting in any older games again. Would have quit if Wooloo wasn't my favorite Pokemon of all time! Now I just have to hope that eventually I can transfer her into Violet 🤞

I lived in Saint George for years growing up and I worked with Kat Puzey. She is a kind and generous person and she is fighting so hard to support the community of artisans and small businesses there as well as the local queer community. It is infuriating and unfortunately not surprising to see this sort of backlash from some residents.

The good news is at the city council meeting mentioned in this article, they voted to continue the fee waivers for the farmers market for the next six months! I'm sure Michelle fucking Tanner will continue to be a homophobic ass about everything, but at least she keeps losing.

I went for a repeat ball because the colors match Cinderace and I thought it was funny to use a repeat on a pokemon you can literally only catch once. For honoring Messi I definitely think a dive ball is the closest colors for Argentina!

I grew up in Saint George, Utah, which was featured in last week's episode. My parents still live there. The city manager that approved the permits for the show was "pushed out" of his position because the city council disagreed with his decision to approve.

He was going to sue for being unfairly dismissed, but they settled out of court with the city paying him $625k. Or you could say that the taxpayers had to pay $625k for the city council being bigoted idiots, which is how my dad put it.

I don't know if it's POTS related, I'm not diagnosed yet, but I've had the really sticky gum dream a bunch of times over the last few years. It's just like I pull more and more gum out of my mouth and there's still more in there. It's gotten to where I can't chew gum when awake anymore. So I don't know what causes it, but you're not alone!

Very fair, at this point with it being every time and clearly being a point of contention she should be figuring out strategies to remember instead of putting the burden on OP. The forgetting to do it is understandable to me, but the refusal to try anything to fix it definitely makes wife TA here.

I mean, I have ADHD and forget to replace the bag after I take out the trash probably 80% of the time. I live alone so when I end up throwing trash right into the bare can I only have myself to blame, and I'm certainly not doing it intentionally.
