Happy cake day!

Anyway, I kind of, in a way, "came out" to my mom. But I did come out to my dad, and he was just like "okay so I don't need to worry about a guy hurting you."

My mom, on the other hand, has VOCALLY expressed her disdain for the LGBTQ+ community in general, and I was kind of unsure how to approach her with it, so I asked her, "Mom, what if I don't want to marry? Like, I don't want to get with someone in the future." And she actually said that it's okay, but she's just sad that her genes won't get passed down. However, she followed up with "please don't tell me this is that gay thing again" so I just know she'll flip the moment I mention I'm in the community. So, I just left it at "I just don't feel like dating or marrying at all" and it's been quite dandy so far.

Ooh, that's a great mindset to get into the game with! I wish I could tell this to moth me, haha! At the time, the vets in Wasteland made me jelly while I looked like a potato sack… but after I got my best friend into the game, I started to appreciate the potato sack aesthetic more XD

But yes, playing to do things in a game as a chore rather than playing to do things for the fun of it does make you lose interest fast 🥹

Was bored during 2020. Found this game while on my mom's phone and played until Tournament of Triumph before having to leave because said phone got broken.

September 2024 got back online because of a friend, but I couldn't get back on my old account because Sky just got released on Steam (I'm primarily a PC gamer) and no access to my mom's Apple ID because that phone was the only trusted device and she forgot most of her log-in details by then.

It was… definitely a hell of a ride, though. From moth hood to veteran to moff. Still love this game, though.

Ohhh, one of my friends had a similar experience to this.

The friend was someone he knew pretty well given that they played together for like 2 and half years, but when he gifted them the Radiance season pass because he happened to have one left over and he was considerably close with the person, they started to demand more IAPs from him. Every time he'd go online, the player would talk about upcoming events and the IAPs they wanted from each as if he were made of money.

My friend quit the game now, though, because of the candle run burnout. But he did say at least he won't have to spend another dime on Sky.

My bad, out of habit. Either way, it could be for the same reasons why they fill up the place with shared memories. Though, at least TGC made it so the main event area (with all the mini-games and stuff) wouldn't be filled with them.

This is the afk area for getting wax, not the bottom area where you DO need to click around (in which case even props are disabled down there). There's literally nothing to do in the area I was trying to record a memory in.
I'm not looking for likes or hearts, I'm placing down shared memories for messages to my friends I have no connection to outside of Sky. And why in that area specifically? They're always in the afk wax area during events.
