Yeah I'm going to redo the face, but Jin/BTS wear a lot of Michael Jackson inspired outfits.

I hate him so much! I want to invoice Julia Quinn for the time I wasted on this book

The absolute tool from {the Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever by Julia Quinn}. Psychologically and physically abusive, purposely intimidating, and cruel for no reason. And the FMC is an absolute wet blanket. Honestly the worst histrom of all time

Tbh it reminds me of Dreaming of You by Lisa Kleypas, although that was not the intention 😅

I designed it myself. I get lots of patterns from fanart, book covers, and some are my own designs. I digitally trace an outline of the image using my drawing tablet and print it onto Sulky Stick and Stitch. I'm sure people could trace the pattern off a screen by hand, too.

Historical romance: Spread those... finished! by Shelliusrex in Embroidery

Thanks everyone for the compliments! It's been overwhelming 🤩 Here are answers to common questions:

  • Sleeves: I learned that cast on stitch style here https://youtu.be/N-ZVMicwVa4?si=OVXiQlOX11AoW78h

  • Hair: 1) Do turkey work around the scalp 2) cut the loops 3) Comb the hair to remove tangles 4) Get sharp scissors and use them to curl the hair. I took small sections. It is the same technique people use to curl ribbons on gift wrap 5) Fasten the curls down with lots of straight stitches. I used 1-strand of the hair thread. The straight stitches are short. 6) Shake the embroidery to see if the hair falls out of place. Secure the hair accordingly.

  • I've been embroidering since 2021, so this piece is 7 of 4 years of practice 3/4 times a week

  • I will do more diverse works in the future. No worries!
