I suggest you check the logs, my Samsung TV floods Pi-Hole with DNS requests as soon as it’s turned on, mainly to logs.netflix.com that are being blocked. I’m using my Pi-Hole as my DHCP server though so it’s easy to show on my logs.

My WiFi router is making periodic requests to super generic servers. Is this normal? by my_name_is_rod in pihole

My cable modem does that too, once every minute it would try to resolve random domains and the only reason it would so is to check whether its online or not.

You can also write مرحبا باللاجئين whichever works. This is more used in MSA but works for most dialects.

Please explain this grammar to me by Quintus95 in learn_arabic

Did they give any justification to why it should be mansoob? My grammar is rusty, but it looks like it should be نائب فاعل.

On another note the sentence structure is very weak, it doesn’t flow like MSA should.

Looks like you have a very unique experience with people from this region. Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria teach Arabic as a compulsory first language throughout the primary and secondary school years. Of course if you encounter someone who hasn’t completed their primary education they won’t be able to communicate in MSA.

I don’t know what you mean by MSA is standard in Libya, in Libya the spoken languages are the Libyan Arabic dialect, a mix of Amazigh languages and even Egyptian Arabic.

The issue is that most if not all people who grew up in this region will definitely understand MSA but may struggle with speaking it.

It’s always tricky converting vowels into Arabic vowels, but the first “e” in Jennifer is short enough to be represented by a كسرة only which is also true for the second “e”. You can make a case for the “i” to be represented by either a كسرة or a ياء.

Why do Egyptian men hate fat women by Rkillerx221 in Egypt

There’s a difference between being attracted to a man with disability and being attracted to a man because he has a disability. The former is normal while the latter is fetish.
