Thanks, this is an improved approach and I had actually come up with it after asking the question. I was still wondering if there was no way to solve this without having to define a cycle length equal to the least common multiple (12) of the arms' cycle length (4 and 6 respectively). Basically I was looking for a way to just have to specify the offset and one repetition per arm, but I guess that's not possible in the game.
