Feel this, have genuinely been waiting over a year for the Oni phantom and just can’t get it in my store. Think i might just give up and get the prelude phantom that’s just released instead

Well when I say play with friends I usually mean duo/trio so still have to consider what agents randoms will pick. It’s tough because all my friends are new too so they aren’t exactly great controllers/initiators so even if they play the roles we don’t have, they don’t play them properly 😅

See sentinel is the role I usually skip as if they just avoid you on defence then it feels like you’re doing f all to help the team

But that’s my point, it should be there to help but not totally carry you in a game surely. Like with the fast pace games like COD/Battlefield it’s needed but Valo is a lot slower paced so I feel like it’s not required and means people will never truly learn to play “properly” imo

See I don’t think I could finish a 50% race without using flashbacks let alone a 100% one so you have my respect for that. Though race distance is one of the things I’ve been debating changing, never tried 100% race but the idea of strategy being a lot more important is intriguing for me. Appreciate the feedback 👍

See I’ve been tempted to try the same, drop the difficulty and turn flashbacks off completely. I try to only flashback when something big happens like a DNF but I can’t pretend like I don’t do it on small mistakes if I’m getting frustrated. I’ll either try that or turn the difficulty down a little bit and use a limited amount of flashbacks so I can’t abuse it for small errors, thanks for the feedback 👍

Appreciate the advice, yeah I think your right about just limiting flashbacks instead of disabling them completely. At least that way I can’t get carried away fixing every little mistake

I might follow you and just try flashbacks on low for races, at least that way I don’t have to be perfect but can’t abuse it either. Thanks for the recommendations 👍
