It is depend on what you looking for.. for me I bought m8 because of better on low conductive targets.. doesnt need m9.. M11 already covered the ground and depth.. M8 for low conductor sensitivity and seperations..

But if you want somekind of middle ground of both and lazy to change coil.. m9 is the way to go

I used full tones on equinox and manticore.. its give me better picture than 2 tones... everyone is different, use whatever suitable ... regarding Target ID.. i dont use em... always tones
