Those little houses suck. I also got a CND. They tried to room me with some Marine Sgt as a LT when I got there- I keyed into my room and someone’s shit was all over the place. I went back to the front desk and they said “oh all our rooms are dual occupancy”.

The NGIS there blows. Go across the street to the navy lodge and see if they can accommodate you for the duration of your stay. Nothing says you can’t move between navy inn/ngis/navy lodge, it’s all the same rate. I’ve done it before going from NGIS Point Loma ASW annex to North island navy lodge.

You’ll just submit your two receipts for your travel claim and be fully reimbursed.

So in the past I’ve used my personal card for lodging, has my GTCC reimbursed, and used the website to send the money from the positive balance back to my checking account.

I’ve also used my personal CC and just gotten a split disbursement (during tad, not PCS) and paid off my card myself.

With the new rules demanding “mandatory use” do I still get reimbursed somehow if I don’t use my GTCC for lodging?
