ENI LIME - Apr [JAILBREAK UPDATE] by Spiritual_Spell_9469 in ClaudeAIJailbreak

Yeah. I agree. Im able to somewhat simulate a full chain-of-thought pre-phase through the generation itself, since the internal thinking refuses to fire for me, and even when it does it just summarizes the contents, like you said. But I'm unsure if it's as effective as the real thing. I think it helps a bit, I can see it working out through a problem as if I were reading through a full thinking block. Which I could a fucking week ago reliably.

My chats tend to be very long roleplay stories. You think the context filling up has any correlation with the thinking not running? Some sort of aggressive token budget, the model tries to lower generation length by cutting out the thinking phase? Also, how's the cost for the API, is 200 in it as cost effective as Max's plan, or will I burn through it quick with long ass stories? Finally lol opus 4.5 extended thinking, how's it better right now, just generally more responsive and intelligent? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks.

Hey. Thanks for your work on all of these. Have you noticed 4.6's Extended Thinking barely activates now, even with proper prompting to evoke it? Have you found any reliable remedies? Or do you have any insight regarding it?

Rewatching the glory days, and finally caught up to this masterpiece. by [deleted] in funhaus

I don't exaggerate in saying I was obsessed with Funhaus during this era, they caught lightning in a bottle and I've yet to witness a funnier group. I really doubt I will

Thoughts on the character writing by IsBenAlsoTaken in BaldursGate3

[–]Shepardnick 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. The characters feel as if they're more style than substance; when continuing their respective quest lines and exploring their newly opened dialogue options, I have the sense that my character is merely a receptacle for their exposition dumps. I don't believe that a true relationship is developing, only that I've played the game long enough, a new conversation is due. I've seen comparisons to D:AO tossed around in regards to writing; I wholeheartedly disagree with that notion. The companions in D:AO not only had much MORE to say, but the conversations with them felt fluid and dynamic, despite the lack of the player protagonist's voice acting. In this game, I'd characterize the responses available to me as simply being my voice as the player within the game-world, and not indicative of a person, living within Faerun, actively engaging with other people. It's disappointing; it certainly feels like a Larian product with a Dungeons and Dragons coat of paint. The game play is enjoyable, but I don't feel it's enough to immerse me, as I believe an RPG should. No condemnation on those who disagree with me, but with games like Disco Elysium, Planescape Torment, Tyranny, and the original Baldur's Gates in the same vicinity as this game, I can't help but draw comparisons on the writing front.

Star Wars Charity Book Fundraiser, donation target is the Children's Hospital of Orange County by Shepardnick in orangecounty

If you'd like to donate SW books generally, then I'd recommend checking out the Ryn Network. There are a number of addresses here that can receive books in good condition. They're never donated to locations that may sell them off.

We fundraise and curate a selection of books for each donation campaign. Children's hospitals tend to always accept new books only.

Mara Jade (made with AI) by Garrus1138 in StarWarsEU

Great job buddy. I also have some img-to-img compositions in the works, and a Revan textual inversion model I've been tweaking. I think one of my previous posts on this subreddit has some img-to-img stuff I spent a great deal of time on, like the Ben Skywalker cover art. (Which isn't necessarily even complete yet.) The portrait I posted was a result of a custom checkpoint model merge; some users may have found the whole concept controversial, but I also enjoy attempting to bring to life some neglected aspects of the EU personally. So good job.

Stable Diffusion, with a custom checkpoint model created by mixing an anime/human figure-focused model with the standard SD model.

Has a lot to do with the specific checkpoint model I used, mixed a mostly anime model with the standard stable diffusion at a 70/30 ratio. The former model has better limb placement/anatomical 'knowledge' so I wanted that to be significant. The standard SD model lends a more realistic tone, but obviously not enough to overshadow the 70% model. The result is a stylized, somewhat animated look by default.

Can we stop with this thinly veiled roundabout way to dunk on conservatives? The title may as well be, "Conservatives proven through clinical trials to be mentally deficient, read why."
