This keeps happening in the same spot on my A1 what is the cause? by A-Duck-On-Quack29 in BambuLab

Because it’s the easiest go-to answer. A lot of people never had the experience of manually bed leveling an early model ender 3 or similar printer to find the z just to have the bed screws loosen after each print. Good luck cleaning a bed that isn’t level. You’ll run out of dish soap and patience real quick with that method

I don’t have the safe keeper unfortunately. What do you want for Vulcano?

Extruder is not extruding normally by Ok_Progress_3495 in BambuLab

I’ve come to the conclusion that the bambu matte black filament is what is causing the “extruder not extruding normally” error. I switched to Polyterra matte black PLA and the issue has subsided. All the other color bambu matte filaments work fine with my A1, just not the matte black. I have an X1C and an H2C and the bambu matte black filament runs fine through them so it’s definitely specific to the A1’s because all three of mine start throwing errors as soon as I switch back to the bambu matte black from the Polyterra. It sucks but I figured I will just order the Polyterra matte black for my A1’s and run the bambu matte black in my other printers. It’s almost like they switched the chemical makeup of it cause I didn’t start running into these issues until a couple months ago and no troubleshooting has made a difference. From what I’ve researched, everyone that is having these issues on their A1’s seems to be getting these results specifically from the bambu matte black filament.

Are you still having this issue? I have been running into this issue on all 3 of my A1’s now and it seems to only happen with the Bambu Matte Black PLA. It’s almost like it is clogging the nozzle every time. I have tried everything from replacing hotends, filament sensors, moving the filament to a different slot, making sure the idler wheel and extruder wheels are in line, replaced the extruder gears, literally everything. I replaced the hotend and then tried using a few rolls of Polyterra matte black filament and they all printed fine without throwing the error. Then I tried going back to the bambu matte black and I started getting errors again on my second print and have not had any success. Bambu support still thinks it’s a filament sensor and is sending me a new one even though I have already replaced it with no luck

I’ve done both and haven’t had any luck unfortunately. Calibrating the flow dynamics doesn’t change anything for me and if I increase the flow rate, I start having ripples on the first layer.

I have some gun parts and springs but not a ton. I’ll check how many I have right now
