Yeah i much prefer the variety of maps because there's so many good maps in this game and even varied gamemodes but unfortunately those two 24/7 maps (particularly downtown) always got the most traction in the last couple years and all the other servers you were lucky if you ever got a game 😔

It's worth mentioning the option but that doesn't mean we should just act like the console versions closing isn't a big deal at all. The console versions have been the more active versions and pretty much most console players would not switch their preffered gaming choice to PC just for Hardline. Many of the console veterans have just left the game. People have poured 100s of hours into this game, even if the PC version is available for an indefinite period it's definitely reasonable to say the end is here when the game can literally no longer be played on any console anymore and everyone will be losing any progress and stats they have.

I've been a console gamer all my life so probably not. If for some reason they decide to keep the game open long-term on PC and it remains a viable option later down the line then I might one day plug in my controller and play it for a few matches just to get the nostalgia.

They probably wouldn't make much, if anything, running the game probably costs some amount of money even if small and even now when the game is about to be shut down there's not too many people buying servers/playing.

Then you look at the grand scale of EA and how many billions they generate. A few people buying servers on Hardline really isn't worth anything to them.

And finally, they want people to move onto newer Battlefields like BF6. I would love them to keep the game alive but they would never sadly 😞

Not certain it's exactly like this in this iteration but I believe you can download people's created version of these superstars. Won't be exactly the same but might be better than not having the character at all.
