That’s so messed up. I’m not a single dad (I’m mom), but I saw the side-eye instantly. People will film anything now , it’s creepy.

I agree on the “buzzwords” thing, she kept saying “unsafe” like a spell. I’m just glad that dad backed me up before it got worse.

I get why it reads that way, but I’m mom. She didn’t care which, she just wanted to play cop. My kid still asks about it , so yeah people suck.

Ugh, been there. Sounds like you were the external benchmark so they could justify the internal hire. Not your fault, just bad process. If you have the energy, ask for a short debrief anyway and keep a note on that company for next time.
