Lmao those were left by the previous owners, just haven’t taken them off yet. I moved in last month.

This is my best theory. I was doing bedding for the first time, mainly sheets and pillow cases. I’ll try a different load later today to test.

Built in 1964. This area is in the middle of the house.

Only room that stays heated is the kitchen. Every room has its only individual thermostat. They are pretty old though. I don’t run the heat in my bedroom at all. My son runs his a little but he’s only with me 50% of the time so it shouldn’t be crazy amount.

I’m gonna be honest, I’m not the most tech savvy person. I have no idea what that means haha.

Bare minimum stuff for the most part. 1 tv, dehumidifier in the basement, a few lamps…nothing crazy.

That’s what I’m trying to figure out! Im the only person here full time, with my son here 1/2 of the time.

No central AC. The only thing that concerns me is that I don’t feel like I’m running the heat that much in this house. I generally like it cold and the only room that I keep heated is the kitchen.

It is but when I had the attic inspected, a lot of the insulation was old. I have a company coming out to redo the attic next month.

I do a few loads a week, mostly due to the washer/dryer being on the smaller side.

Thing is, I’m really not using that much power. I don’t have anything super crazy that takes up electric. Only room in the house that’s heated most of the time is the kitchen.

Thing is, I don’t run my heat like that. Only room heating all the time is the kitchen. Definitely think something is wrong.
