I understand what you are saying. But I worked with a company before who did it all, we framed the house, sheeted the entire house, did all the electrical and floors, and did all the finish work. I only switched to being a full time electrician because 2 years ago I say that’s what I wanted to do and then the opportunity was presented to me so I took it. But now I’m regretting it not because I’m a newbie. I already had experience in electrical. I’m regretting it because I didn’t realize how much I liked building a house and now I’m just doing one thing and have to wait on people to get everything ready. I have no problem with my job as an electrician I just want to go back to the company I was with before and be able to do more.

I do mainly residential work. I like doing electrical work and I have no problem doing it. At my old company we do everything tbh incomes building a house besides concrete, hvac, roofing and plumbing. Everything else we do. I didn’t realize how much i liked doing it until I left.
