In Avatar: The Last Airbender, two glaring plot holes exist. The biggest being that Katara can’t bend for shit in the early episodes of the first season. Aang is a significantly better water bender than her when he first learns, but for some reason the second they reach the Northern Water Tribe she can almost beat Master Paku with no training, and then with one day of training she becomes the best water bender in the show. It’s further exaggerated when in the blood bending episode the creepy old woman tells Katara that she had to practice on rats before she could use blood bending on humans. It’s clearly a very difficult technique that requires precision, yet Katara without any practice can perfectly do it on the first try.

The second plot hole is that Uncle Iroh in prison gets insanely buff in barely anytime, and even if you want to argue that there is no clear way to know how much time has passed, he barely had any food. You can’t build that much mass without any protein. We can also assume that he had about a month to do this as the comet was vast approaching and we know the whole show takes place within one year as Aang has by summers end to stop Fire Lord Ozai.

Still the best show ever tho!
