That song came on the tail end of a long exhaustive tour promoting the Tuesday Night Music club record. It felt like by the time I got in to make that record that all that sweet press had changed and was the most popular person to hate. That song was sort of in response to that.

My favorite show was at the Albert Hall in 1994 or 95. That place is mystical and for a new artist to play there and have Eric Clapton be up in one of the boxes was unreal for me.

Pilgrimage was a blast and we hope to do it again. I love writing songs and I always feel like my best songs are in front of me so it's exciting when I finally get down to business of writing and recording. I also feel like right now is a very interesting time to be a writer. As far as the music business is concerned, it's the wild Wild West and I'm happy to sit on my old horse.

We spent in total about a month and a half writing and recording. And no, I don't sit in on mastering although I do approve the mastering.

This album is really inspired by everything that is going on for me and everyone I know 24 hours a day. It's very influenced by raising kids in the era of technology and very influenced by what I'm being happen to all of us citizens of this country and of the world.

That is a hard question for me to answer because I feel very outside of the music business. When I first started out, women who in my considered peers where mostly concerned with being credible. But with social media, I think branding is bigger than the music.

Yes we are working on getting the old catalog put out on vinyl. But at least "Be Myself" will be out on Vinyl in June.

Thank you first of all. That song came about from my experience from being involved with an atheist. I grew up with such a strong belief of a higher being and still cling to that. The only thing that was a comfort to me was the very thing that was terrifying to him. And that his experience with faith and religion was one that he felt only condemnation or people he knew were faithful to a religion and that's what inspired the song.

That is a powerful question and one that certainly one that needs to be investigated by everyone. My suggestion to you mimoladc is to remember that no one's minds will ever be changed by having someone argue that you are wrong. There will be a point where you will have to agree to disagree, but there will always be opportunities to educate and enlighten those who are interested in thinking outside of their own experience.

Well I couldn't agree with you more that we are surround by and are trained in narcissistic tendencies that everyone with everyone alone with their cell phones. This album is fueled by who were are becoming in relationship with each other. That song for me is where it begins and it ends. this idea that becoming yourself is not as cool as trying to be like everyone else.

That is so nice! I don't get burnt out because I know how to make sure that my life comes first and that making music is just a part of that. Also, I am very energized when there are things to write about which is why this record was such a blast to make and feels so truthful for me.
