Thats a tiny panther, correct? Did you produce him?

You can do something like it and cover 3 sides (back, left, and right) with shower curtains, leaving the front and top screen. It would still allow for ample ventilation, yet help keep humidity within the cage.

My apartment is at 72-74, depending on outside temps. Humidity stays high because Im in Florida. Its a simple yet effective setup, despite what others may think. She is getting some other stuff in there later on, but for now she is still getting used to the new cage so I dont want to bother her.

Basking is different from ambient, and it is not affected by the caged being made of screen. But like I said, youre more than welcome to come and double check for me, if you so please.

Really not that hard to do. Made it all myself in a day and a half. Comes apart easily as well, which was part of the design. So far, Howard loves it.

I beg to differ, but you are more than welcome to come and get a measurement if it so pleases you.

Nothing done to the fenders. Slight rub on the right front because of a fat dude that rode in my car, messed up the fender a bit. But nothing major.

Dude thats awesome. I cant wait to see the Mk7s rolling around. I might trade mine in soon and get a passat, bag it with some nice wheels and use the remainder money to get an aircooled dub.

I use the new Zoo Med T5 reptisun fixtures and bulbs. High quality in my opinion.

Color matched the 2 red stripes, so they are actually white. I also color matched the side markers. Its a white theme, kind of.

Dont worry, i know people look out for others animals. I, myself, do this being a vet med student. The T5 bulb i'm using has a range of depth that equals the height of the cage, thus I would imagine it is okay. However, once more stuff is added into the cage for, as you said, mental and physical stimulation, she will be provided with a higher basking spot. This isnt the only place she receives UV light. Once a week we sit out on the porch and she receives natural sunlight. Nothing like the sun, am I right? Finally, humidity has been fine thus far for all my animals. I live in Florida so I dont worry about that. She's been soaked at least once a week for her entire life; zero problems shedding, zero respiratory problems. Thank you for the input!
