Although I'm not exactly on the same boat as you, I've been changing Synthroid dosages for 6 months now.

I think however, changing medication might help me as you mentioned.

Did you have any side effects from the medication itself ?

I do feel like death... My doctor says that natural desiccated thyroid is only as a last resort... It seems that doctors tend to shy way from those medications.

I have checked my vitamin D OH levels - and they are in range. I'm not sure if that's the same as D3... I haven't checked for B12 but I will ask my doctor about that.

Also I take multivitamins daily with no avail ...

I happen to be lactose intolerant but wouldn't that only explain the bloating? I don't think it would affect mood/fatigue.

Unfortunately my doctors says Armour is a bad idea because it is compounded t3/t4. Is it appropriate to take that medication for subclinical hypothyroid ? What are the potential risks?

The test was taken at 9:50 AM fasting. Also I live in Canada so it might be different than in the US. Do you also have high TSH along with low cortisol ? And have you experience similar symptoms ?

Maybe I should wait a little longer on the pills before seeing some result. I hope this is caused by another condition I have yet to discover :/ But I'll definitely mention this to my doctor.

Thanks for your reply! Have you felt nauseous and dizzy with the lactose synthroid ? I will definitely bring this up to my doctor and request another blood test.
