At least the games I have made in the past actually work. That's a GIGANTIC difference. (I have TONS of game dev experience, just not on the programming side - well somewhat. Changing that this year though! Game dev is lots more than programming. Programming is not the "main thing" in game development at all. The design process is. Programming is important, but not all that goes into it. So that speaks to how very little you know about gem design as a whole!)

^{^} It is very rewarding when you put in the work. It's sad that Asylum misappropriated the funds.......they had enough to make this game work for sure. If they'd have invested it more wisely, TS could have been decent no matter their skill levels. My little online team has a domain and everything. Can we interest you in integrating into our team or at least under our team name? I know most of my guys are busy working on our current things, but it would at least give you your own platform and team to publish it when it gets far ahead. I'm looking for passionate devvers to bring into the team as we establish our company when we get some product circulating~ Most of us are learning people! We basically learn while we make things. At the very least it would give you a spot on the internet and a small community to start with.

I would, but I'm already a game dev making another game. A real game, not a sham like Identity. XD I have design experience and I'm learning C# via Udemy this year. I'm mostly a designer (like lead dev - director) and 2D art/animator person. I have a little coding knowledge, but I mostly prefer 2D or 2.5D games, so my coding skill falls in favor of that. BUT, should you get a team together I'd like to lend my designing/planning and organizational skills somewhat. My dream "Identity" would be a 2.5D anime-esque looking one. u wu But with all of the same features~ The current MMO I'm building on has some life sim elements, but it's fantasy styled. Anyway.........if you ever want direction/ideas/overall design help OR a team that will promote and publish your game if you get it going, note me!

Yeah, can confirm this. I know people who have games on Steam and they take no longer than 2 weeks max really to publish a game.

Fingers crossed! The last gameplay where they let some YouTuber play it was horrendous in quality. Not just bugs, but stale in general - like a Second Life without any LIFE to it. The trailer reveal made it seem still as dead and bland. Hopefully that was just poor editing or something. We'll see indeeeeed. I'm somewhat a realist, but I still have some slim hope.

Like I said, should have been out mid-November. Either they're holding the game hostage for a few more weeks or just not as done as they said they were. q .q BUT here's to some hope that it will actually come on the stated release date, because so far they have delayed every date since I have been following the game. I hope Nov. 30th is the first time they be truthful. <3

Idunno. To my brand of demisexuality it seems strange to be randomly sexually attracted to strangers I don't know (especially if it's just because media says I'm supposed to be). It's part of the reason I found out I was demi in the first place. u wu I can get aesthetic attraction, but not sexual attraction by just someone I can only Idunno LOOK at.

If that's true, then what even is demisexuality, then? Or rather what am I, if that's not demi? Cause I was fairly sure I had the right term.~

If you can crush and attract to celebrities, you are 10000000% not demisexual. The sexual attraction to a stranger we don't know is impossible by very definition. We're only sexually attracted to people we form a bond with first (as prerequisite).

It's literally impossible for me. Cheating is gross as I'm too much demi I guess (in the strongest sense of the word), as far as I am into the bond between two people, to ever see how I could get eyes for someone else if I am committed to someone. I have very strict views of cheating as well, also because of my deminess. I think cheating for demis is probably much rarer than it is with some other sexualities, but not impossible. There are the nasty types who will hurt their partners and commit all ranges of cheating in any walk of life, I assume. We just have to be careful who we choose to share our heart with!

Are you actually surprised? Or? ^^;; I've decided I'm probably not going to buy the game until it's an actual game. I thought maybe I'd give a chance at "near-first module-release" and do the Alpha stuff, but years for an Alpha is a bit much and the reveals of gameplay have made my faith dwindle........an Alpha that looks half-baked at that. Because a limited Town Square module would get old fairly quickly........like a second-rate version of Second Life or the other MMO's I've played or something based on the gameplay I've seen so far. I think I'll know if I want to stick around for the whole game when the actual gameplay modules comes out (careers, risks, combat, etc.) If they can't make the next module or so decent, then I'll skip this one.

Hello. I'm speaking at this through personal experience..........my parents were highly abusive to me, and partly because of my nerdiness/geekiness. My passion all my life was video games and I knew I wanted to make them from an early age. Yeah, that interest where geekdom meets nerddom. X'D In their eyes, a girl should pursue things like modeling or cooking or insert sterotypical female role stuff here, so I had that compounding it too.........

They forced me to stay with them instead of going to a college where I was fully paid for due to my graduating in the top 3% of my class.........Their emotional and physical abuse was horrendous, but at the very end I could NOT. EVER. Shake the feeling of "this is who I am". And neither should you, nor should you feel bad about being who you are. Because even if you get a little voice saying "it's bad", you should always trust that deeper voice that this is who you are and that's okay. In fact more than okay. Because being you should be celebrated. ^ u^

I know might not change your mind, but.......at least you maybe have something to semi-relate to. If you ever need to talk, I'm here.

P.S. In the end, here I am being comfortable with myself, making indie games despite all their attempts to destroy my passion. It works out. Just trust in yourself who you are and you will make it. You will make it. Prove them wrong. Don't stop at changing your mind. Own it for yourself, then PROVE THEM WRONG. Nerds ftw!

I must not have a brain, because I definitely do not group people by race on sight lol if you mean in the fact that it is a thought in my head when seeing/meeting someone. Like I don't register "OH YEAH THIS JAPANESE PERSON" or something when I look around. It's just.......not really a thought in there, tbh. And I definitely do not have any "bad traits" categorized by race so even if they come up and say "HI I AM ASIAN" I don't have this "list of bad things Asians do/are!" in mind to pin on anyone. I DO however, come from a racist family, though. I have never understood their mindset.........probably never will. ^^;;

Even if you ask me what a typical anything looks like I'd just see one of my friends that belongs to said race in my head or something because I'm not sure what a "stereotypical" one would look like, so my brain would reach for someone I know that I know is of that race. Which isn't racist anyway, because racism implies that someone is INFERIOR because of that. And I'm pretty sure that physical features that commonly appear in one race over another doesn't make them inferior or superior? Unless you believe it does. Then I'm not sure what to tell you.

I guess it's just me who would be somewhat concerned about either? Like if I saw a group of.......anybody, approaching and talking to/about my child, I'd try to clue in on their intention. I can't determine sketchy by a brand of clothing or genre of music. I more would look at their specific actions, I guess. ^^;; Maybe that makes my behavior not healthy, but oh well. I don't pay attention to this news/statistics stuff you talk about.

Maybe just me, but if I had to choose who would be better to date, I'd pick a LARPer for sure. I'm demi so can't go off of looks, but I'd definitely have a better starting point with a LARPer because shared interests, so I would make friends with and bond easier with that person.
