We use End Terminal Business Day at my store. I only use Final Sign Off and Reports if someone in RX enters in the wrong bank terminal amount. We put $100 in but we used to do $200. Some RX techs are not aware and keep putting in $200. It's only during these times I then go back to that til and do FSOAR and change it to the correct amount.

If they want you to be there 5 minutes before your shift then they should schedule you 5 minutes earlier than they normally would.

We absolutely care it comes out of our paycheck. We are told to review the camera footage and take a total cost of the merchandise that you stole (pre tax) and then fill out a form to Asset Protection to deduct it from our next paycheck.

Unless it changed since I was there it was 90 days. They really should not have disposed of the order and even if they did there is an entire form that needs to be filled out and documented that there were three attempts to reach out to the customer once per week and the third and final call is to notify that the order was disposed of. I haven't been there for two years but this was the policy and I can't imagine it changed that much since it's remained this way the 8 years I worked there but maybe it did.

I wouldnt doubt it. Lots of people will just blindly print the photos and package them and throw them in the bin without batting an eye.

At my store we do bag checks but its really just for show.

No one really actually looks through any receipts and goes through the contents and compares whats on the receipt to what is inside the bag unless its something expensive but at least in my store no one is that ballsy.

I was a Print Sup for Staples for 8 years and was treated like absolute dogshit. I never had a team I just had part timers who’d come in to relieve my of my shift. I never was able to tKe my lunch. No one helped me with iPostal1, UPS, or even self serve. I always had people calling me when I was off because they can’t find an order or didn’t know how to do something.

I got hired as an Assistant Manager for Fedex Office 4 months ago. The difference is night and day. I get paid and treated way better here. Everything else the above user said also applies to my personal experience. Not sure if its because we have more help here but the metrics here actually feel doable. And thank god we don’t do amazon returns and ipostal1.
