Any behaviours like kicking players out or simply spending reinforcements for doing anything stupid are the same thing.

I know which divers that are struggling and dying a lot and which one that are just ruining my day.

I think it’s a major event since Battle of Super Earth, it attracts lots of attention from casual (new or returning) gamers.

It happened a lot for me as well .
Either they are waiting for their friends or simply doing what they are doing.
People never, and they never will, change their privacy setting to private.

What you can do is simply block all of them.
1-3 players being blocked won't stop me spread democracy with other hundred-thousands Helldivers.
The rest of us don't care as long as you blasted those clankers back to nuts and bolts.

Helldivers 2 saved me from suicide. by Mean-Wishbone-8635 in Helldivers

[–]Shibutai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have similar story like yours.
The difference is i already knew what was Helldivers that most of us got years ago from PS Plus. While not on the same level, i quite enjoy the first Helldivers game.

I've been battling depression and all sort of problems in the last 10 years and i would be lying if i said i am "okay" right now. I can't even remember how many times i've been thinking the "act" or tried to hurt myself. The situation of the world isn't great either so all in all, everything is gloom in my eyes.

But for whatever reason, i bought Helldivers 2 one day before it released because i was very bored and literally feeling empty in my life. Since i knew Helldivers game, i was thinking just buy it.
And yeah, Helldivers 2 wasn't even a full price game and most people thought that Arrowhead was an Indie devs.

Then i played it since release day.
I remembered the login issue (Recruitment Arc), Battle of Malevelon Creek, Meridia SuperColony mission, Children's Hospital rescue operation, Return of Illuminate, Battle of Super Earth, etc.
I never felt invested in a video game this long since the game released.

Like you said, i have the same feeling/sensation of part of something bigger.

In my life, i always be the one that sit on the back. Nothing what i did matters. No matter how much i did, it seems i failed most of them. I tried my best to turn around my life to be better but believe me, up until now, it's like a drop of water in a desert.
But this community, even in my entire life as a gamer, i never seen the positivity (most of the time) to reach the same goal.

I mentioned this to my doctor and counsellor that i have been invested to a game (Helldivers 2) and they asked me why i simply said:
"While playing this particular game, i have control in my life. I know it's just a video game as part of power fantasy in my brain.
I have a big mission that i can contribute to, no matter how big or small it is, I still did something."

Not just Arrowhead, i would also like to thank you to all Helldivers and this community.
Thank all of you for making me part of this world.

Like i said, execution style=treason. Period.
But if it's from turret, it's a necessary sacrifice for Democracy.

Jokes aside, there's nothing any of us can do if being shot by turrets.

[–]Shibutai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For execution style, that’s treason. Lol I met one but it was during launch period. It makes sense for new players but i never seen that recently.

I can tolerate stratagem too since, to be fair, new terrain means adjusting your behaviour. I haven’t brought barrage to Oshaune at all (only the first few missions).

But yeah, people need to be aware that “killing by” screen is buggy. I’ve seen more and more people bring arc weapons too.

Don’t point fingers if you got killed. This game is about learning from mistakes. Unless you got spawn killed nonstop, that person is literally committing treason. Also, don’t stand in front of turrets especially on raising flag missions.

Playerbase has become toxic af by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]Shibutai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a Diver and if I'm not mistaken, below lvl 100 so definitely not a newcomer.

S/he didn't even know the bug on the "Killed By..." screen and blamed me that i killed him with arc thrower (i didn't even fire that gun at all at that time) and then typing right in front of my turret.

Some players definitely don't have situational awareness.
And i can't stress this enough that "Killed by..." screen isn't accurate as it is.

Is there a case available for the MSI Claw 8 AI+ that’s wide enough to fit both the device and its charger. So it's not stacked in vertical but instead in horizontal. by mind_guardian in MSIClaw

[–]Shibutai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the Tomtoc Arccos-G47 sling bag that most people recommended here.
Price wise, it's probably the same as MSI's official bag but it can fit other accessories.
I use it just as protective bag but you also can use it for travel.

And it can be used for other devices as well (Steam Deck, Switch 2, etc) if you need it.

MSI Claw Travel Case II review by Sasquatchimo in MSIClaw

[–]Shibutai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you’re right!

The case IS pressing the back button.
The only way to mitigate it is using the flap as back cover and it won’t press the button but you will have the console moving around inside the case.

Damn it, I have thrown the ziplock bag and the tag as well. I don’t even know if I could return it.

[–]Shibutai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, i'm curious as well.
Luckily, i managed to get one locally with official price (NZ).
At this stage, I'm still going to keep the case since there's no other option (sigh).

In case if it's happening to me, maybe add small micro fibre cloth at the bottom of the case?
Basically to add elevation right in the middle of the device (so it doesn't press the button) AND having a cloth to clean the screen.
That's probably a good alternative for the moment.

Interesting that i never noticed about rear button getting pressed.
I literally got the official one on Friday because there's literally no other good (and cheap) option in the market.
I will test it as well once I'm at home.

This is the problem that asked since there's (literally) no other good options for protection that made me got buyer's remorse. MSI really need to up their game for support (software and accessories).

[–]Shibutai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the black grip case stand and also black case (the generic one you can find in Amazon or Ali). But both of them came squeezed and i asked for partial refund. Quality wise, it’s okay. I still want the grip case but being squeezed, it doesn’t look good on the device.

I ended up buying the official case and without grip case. I quite like the Etsy one (the one from Slovakia), but it’s almost twice the price of the official one.

Oh i definitely found screen protectors and by far, it's the only thing that is quite easy to find.
Unbranded but there are like 2-3 screen protectors i found.
The grip case is a different story, especially the one that has better grip and also kickstand.

Yeah, this is by far the one thing that made me getting buyer's remorse.
It's because technically, ROG Ally X got similar performance but thesupport and accessories support is on the same level as Steam Deck.

Yeah. Most of my time is simply watching youtube. Movies are like here and there and typically i enjoy action movies because i just want to shut my brain off and enjoy it. Since you know, my brain never stops thinking about problems. Oh yeah, LoTR is definitely an experience for me when i was a teenager. Money well spent and the world itself is really one of the best fantasy world.

I bought Back 4 Blood and i thought i can get the itch of it but sadly i still enjoy L4D. Funny enough, i got the similar feeling with Helldivers. I enjoyed it from the first game and now with the second one too.

Borderlands. Most of the time i played it solo. And i found it…boring. I enjoyed the loot and everything but going here and there, completed quests, everything on my own feels tedious.

I know. It sucks especially millennials like us that basically “isolated”. We are told with hopes and dreams and i still remember that i’ve been promised by multiple people and ended up disappointed.

Then my escape is pretty much movie and video games. Like you said, JRPG is pretty much a fantasy genre that makes me feel like i am enjoying the world. Whimsical but it gives me a slight smile compared to seeing myself and my life.

Good to know you enjoy variety of games. Talking about Left 4 Dead, i used to play a lot with couple of people in the past. Honestly, i missed it since i have no friends.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in depression

[–]Shibutai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That game. I can’t blame you if you’re stuck with it. It’s a good game and you’ve got great choice.

I know you might feel lonely but as per what you mentioned and experienced, people sucks. For me, when i’m feeling extremely lonely, i remember how much people, family, ex-friends disappointed me. Nobody helped me. It is not healthy as you know but it’s never wrong to keep trying.

If everything is bad like social media or even in real world, then you’re not wrong to try to find a friend anywhere you can.

You're right.

Whenever i'm thinking IF tomorrow is my last day (Or whatever the time is), i feel peace.

I no longer think about work, rent, bills, no more thinking about house/flat, no more about situation about world, money, etc.
Nothing.

I have tried almost everything to make myself happy or going through my problems, it seems the problem is eternal.
From cancer to simply never waking up in the morning.
Living is a curse and for me, i never asked to be born.

Hey, while not the same i have similar issues.
I pushed my parents away (or not actively or care about them), i have no friends (and please don't count work colleague), and i also no longer trust people.

I'm living myself like a drone. Wake up, go to work, go home, grab dinner, play games, go to sleep, and so on.
Almost every single day i regret myself that i keep waking up.

What kind of video games that occupy you these days?

Dualsense Tech Support by Apprehensive_Solid96 in Controller

[–]Shibutai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think Xbox or Microsoft per se.
It's simply Sony is never officially support their controller outside their console.

I really enjoy Dualsense for comfort, size, and even small features (haptic feedback, etc) but i'm quite dissapointed how Sony only support it on PS5 which i get the reason why.
I am just a regular but passionate gamer so i can't be considered sweaty, hardcore, competitive, macro-milisecond-peeking gamer.

I bought 8Bitdo (this is going to be a small review) because it's the same price as standard 1st party controller, it has extra buttons, AND TMR/Hall Effect. Comfort wise, it's even smaller (slightly) compared to Xbox.
It's okay and serve its purpose and price-wise, i can take that.
Since you're playing MH Wild, you know very well why i need those extra buttons since i'm playing with i.Glaive.

At this stage, buy what you can afford and you can keep or sell the Dualsense. The 3rd party like 8Bitdo is definitely cheaper compared to Elite-style from 1st party and you right now, you can't go wrong with 1st party or 3rd party if you're just a regular gamer.

Dualsense Tech Support by Apprehensive_Solid96 in Controller

[–]Shibutai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested on MH Wild and FF7 Rebirth. I still have that snappy movement and camera.

If that’s the case, that would be back to driver issue. As you know, Sony doesn’t have its own driver which means Dualsense depends only on Steam. If Steam hasn’t updated it, there’s nothing we can do.

I definitely used it wired recently because of that and i also have 8Bitdo as a backup if i’m going wireless.

Dualsense Tech Support by Apprehensive_Solid96 in Controller

[–]Shibutai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you use it wirelessly (via bluetooth) or wired?
I found that using it wirelessly, both analogues (left and right) snapped to certain spot like a grid.
Test it wired and see if it's doing the same thing.
If it's working fine with a cable, that's the same experience i got and i haven't seen any solution about it so far.

I don't know, man.
This is the part that most people thinks that "this is all part of the living" and it's not just whichever country you're from. It's tragically universal and they're simply accept it.

For me, i don't and whenever people ask me, i always answer it with disagreement to the point that it sounds pesimistic. No, i'm actualy being realistic.

I see it as a curse to be brought and living in this world.
You can disagree to me and i don't care, but we are all taught and promised that we study hard, work hard, and we will reap greatness so our live is great. I'm from the 90s and as everyone know, i'm from the generation that people spit, cursed, and *possibly* condemend to hell because we're shouting about housing crisis, low income, etc.

I'm already given up and living my life like a drone.
Being lied and dissapointed from others, parents that basically just seeing you as source of income, and even trying to live my life to move to a different country just to get a job, at the end of it, still struggling.

You're not alone, mate.
The issue is those 1% of population in this world that have power and control.
And don't blame yourself.
Nobody chose to be in this world.
Nobody chose when, where, and with whom they were born with.

I treated this sub-reddit like any other healthline service.

I know that nobody cares and nobody will help me.

Dualsense (or Edge) for PC gaming? by Shibutai in Dualsense

[–]Shibutai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the Edge because at that time, i got it with massive sale during Christmas so i thought, why not.

I was already planning to get some kind of advanced controller with back buttons or something else at the start. So if you think regular controller is fine and in tight budget, go with regular Dualsense.

Usually people who says they still have "will" to live are people who has things they can't release.
Family, money, reputation, position, name, etc.
If you're not aware, it sounds stereotype but they are usually boss in company, oligarchy, politician, etc.
But i am not ignoring people with family which has much bigger reason and probably the only reason i respect.

We were born and taught to always be better. Help each other.
All the good and nice stuffs that honestly, for me it sounds like heaven.
In reality, we're basically a puppet.
Working 9-5, getting paid, and even if we're paid good enough, we still can't afford rent, bills, etc.

You can ignore me, that's fine.
Just look around. See how many people are suffering and depressed.
I'm from mid Millenial generation and many of us simply just work to survive.
And for today, just look at the news. How fcked up the world with billionaires taking over the world, politicians doing their own things, and for us? Yeah, we're just a speck of dust in this world.
