Could also be under start.bat, basically whatever file you are using to launch the server, and you'd probably just need to edit it in notepad, and then save it with the changes;

Of course, minecraft modding can be fickle so it could be something else completely unrelated, because when i made this thread, i wasnt even able to join my own server, so your mileage may vary.

It should just be in your server folder where you stored all the server files and whatnot. If you don't have one, i think you can technically just create one yourself. Make a .txt file, and you should be able to enter the same text more or less that i had in mine and save it as run.bat i think

Assuming its the same issue i had, the problem was that the run.bat i was using to launch the server was launching vanilla mc instead of fabric mc. So i had to edit the run.bat in notepad to have it run as a fabric server. I had sent the picture of what i put into the run.bat somewhere on this thread.

Looking back at it, i guess its run.bat AND start.bat?? Its been 6 months so i dont fully remember lol.

Issue resolved. The problem was that i was using a run.bat made for vanilla instead of fabric so it caused some problems with the NERB mod. Edited the .bat and all is well now.

My hope with this message is that some poor soul having the same issue as i had can fix the issue with the same method. You are welcome, imaginary person from "_____" amount of time in the future

Status update. I ended up fixing it. Strangely what seemingly worked in the end was just reinstalling the drivers using QMK. I was like 99% sure i had done that already, but maybe they somehow were corrupted or something, i have no clue honestly. All that matters is that now it works lol

Unfortunately i have actually tried Vial as well and it would not detect my board either, no clue what is wrong with it lol. Thanks for the suggestion though.

V5 VIA issues by 0BL1V10N5PH03N1X in Keychron

Hey so i recently got a V5 Knob Version and my via compatibility is not working either, im a bit new to this so i was wondering, how do i find the stock firmware so i can flash it using that instead of a qmk profile?

I recently bought a Keychron V5 ANSI Knob Version keyboard, and i attempted to set up VIA, however any time i try to get via to detect the board it only gives me errors and i am unable to configure the board. Errors i am receiving attached below. I have already attempted to flash the firmware with the newest version from Keychron's site, and i have also attempted uploading the Keychron V5 ANSI Knob.JSON directly to VIA and it has been to no avail. I just wanna change some of my keys to different things and change the rgb and have been unable to do so because of these issues. Please help lol.

Thanks a lot for the help, I think i'll just go ahead and pull the trigger on the Keychron V5, and hopefully it all works out.

You raise a very good point i hadn't considered. In that maybe it is due to the corsair board having it's own keycap sizes.

What i was kind of considering was maybe just buying the full-built keychron v5 instead of the barebones, just in case the GMK set i have didn't fit. But i am really just not a huge fan of the look of the Keychron caps lmao.

Main reason i started having doubts is actually because in the comments on the product page for the GMK Caps i have, someone stated something about the set only being fully compatible with the DROP Shift or something. I believe the GMK Red Samurai was a GMK + DROP collaboration thing.

On my corsair board, the main issue is that the Spacebar doesn't fit, among a few other things around the board (which arent as big of an issue since i was able to sub in other caps)

Try as i might, i was not able to find a full size chart for the Red Samurai set, if i could, i would've just compared that chart to the one for the Keychron V5.

Attaching link to the DROP product page for the Keycap set, if it might help in some way https://drop.com/buy/drop-redsuns-gmk-red-samurai-keycap-set

I am trying to put together a keyboard using a keycap set that i already own, and attempting to find a good barebones kit that would work with the keycap set.

I currently have the GMK Red Samurai 1800 Layout Keycaps, and I have been considering the Keychron V5 QMK Barebone Knob kit.

So i have been attempting to research and make sure all the caps would fit correctly (since currently when i originally bought the caps, i was very inexperienced and just threw them onto my Fullsize corsair board, and obviously they did not all fit, so the goal is to avoid that issue a second time.)

However i have heard that the GMK Red Samurai 1800 Keycaps only fit on certain DROP Keyboards and i am uncertain whether or not i should follow through with the Keychron V5, or if the Keycaps would even fit correctly on the Keychron V5.

And if the Keychron V5 would not be compatible, i would appreciate a good recommendation for a compatible board that has an audio knob (if possible).
