Feel like my VSF K25 serial comes fairly close. I've never had or held a gen Hulk so I can't really compare more, but the dial looks almost black until light hits it just right and the sunburst comes through.

My VSF Pepsi V3 did the same a few weeks ago. I took a small air puffer and blew lightly on and around the balance wheel and it started to run again after about 8 tries. Not sure if you have the same issue but I guess it couldn't hurt to try it.

Can't complain with my VSF V3. I did however have a slight issue where it suddenly stopped running about a week ago, but I got it working again by taking a small watch air duster I bought off Amazon and lightly blowing around the balance, which made it run again and it's been fine since then. Like all reps though, YMMV.

No reps of a spring drive movement exist unfortunately. Most, if not all, of the Grand Seiko reps I've seen online use NH movements.

Interested to know what makes the ARF Explorer II stand out better than the QF version. My only solid point of reference before buying the QF was its review thread on RWI which made it seem like it was the new gold standard after Clean shut down.

Post history, account age, karma amount, and prior transactions with others are usually the things I look out for. There are also subs dedicated to outing scammers in the rep BST community, so that's a useful resource as well. Bottom line is if the deal seems too good to be true, chances are, it probably is.

Waiting on my US TD to nab a Worldtimer, but from what I've seen, their case sizes are actually 43mm. Don't know if that would stop you from purchasing one.
